About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Some items are great, others not so. My Blackett scarfch came with a hole I noticed after I'd removed the labels... its where the weave is so thin, falut in weaving.”

“A lovely range blankets, throws etc. Easy to order online and good communication on the progress of the order. Tracking makes it so easy to divert to a safe place/ neighbour if you are out. The blankets were so true to the description ,quality and colour as shown on the website. Fabulous all round and versatile for cosy couch sitting or an extra layer in bed.”

“Wanted 2 throws to cover our easy chairs. Ordered them on-line and they arrived very quickly. Look good - do tend to 'rub' abit but that's because they are real wool!!”

“This is the second blanket I have bought from the BBC and it's even nicer than the first one. I wanted a bright orange pure wool blanket. The colour hasn't disappointed and the wool of the blanket is lovely. I will be buying again!”

“Lovely blankets, real quality. A little 'hairy' to start but that soon goes. The product is worth 5 stars but they use Royal Mail for delivery, even before the recent strikes Royal Mail were poor”

“loved the dusky pink blanket.Bought as a gift .XL size only just fits over a 4 foot 6 bed.Would not be big enough for a super king size.”

“The blanket was bought as a gift so I didn't unwrap it. The colour was beautiful but I can't comment on the feel of it. I like that it is made in Britain from British wool and that one is therefore supporting local suppliers and businesses.”

“I use them (bought about 10) to cover my NEW 6 seater sofa, and chairs & especially keep snug on those cold winter days & evenings. Excellent quality, wish they could do an even bigger size. I rarely recommend stuff, but these throws are excellent. I purchased the Charcoal and Silver Grey Herringbone Throw.”
