About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

“The dusky pink herringbone blankets are great. The delivery very quick. The only slight issue is that the 2 identical 230cm blankets are slightly different lenghts (3cm).”

“Lovely blankets super soft and warm. I ordered 5 & all look very luxurious on beds in our holiday let. Reason not 5 stars - well one of the colours didnt quite match so i requested a return and re order however i had to pay for return even though i was re ordering.”

“The blanket is lovely and soft and very thick, so super warm. I loved being able to buy a larger size. The colour range was excellent and enabled me to find something to suit my colour scheme. However, the fluffy design of it means it sheds terribly. I've been collecting balls of fluff which has covered me, my sofa and the floor by hand and with the vacuum cleaner. It's worse than other similar blankets I've bought previously. I'm also not so sure how it will cope with being washed because of this.”

Thank you for your review. Our wool blankets can shed when they are new due to the natural fibres used, but as you use it more the shedding should reduce.
