About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I wanted a special but useful gift for a dear friend who was having her first baby, another new father said a soft blanket was their favourite gift so I found The British Blanket Company online. Loved the fact that it was a small British company and the blankets looked so appealing. I ordered a baby blanket in grey for my first friend who was delighted with it, so when I was sent a discount code as a new customer, I decided to order another blanket for my God daughter who was also expecting a baby. I forgot to add the code when ordering but a quick email ensured my discount was applied and the personal service made dealing with the company a pleasure. This blanket came to me rather than directly to the recipient so I was able to see how lovely they are. I will definitely recommend and order again.”

“I am delighted with our extra large buttercup yellow throw, which was purchased to brighten up our somewhat jaded sofa. We have an older house with less natural light and more draughts than homes built to modern standards. The throw is soft, smooth and warm to sit on in the evening and provides a welcome burst of colour. The website was very informative and accurate for making an online purchase, and ordering and delivery were faultless. I particularly wanted to support a traditional British craft that embraced new and creative ideas. The British Blanket Company fulfilled all my expectations, highly recommended.”
