About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I have bought three lovely blankets from this Company. One large one for my sofa, and two smaller ones; one for an easy chair with the other for the foot of my bed. They are so soft and being wool they keep you lovely and warm. If you decide to buy one I promise you won't be disappointed.”

“Lovely company to deal with. They kept me updated at all times on the progress of my order and sent me a short history of the company’s background. The fact that I was purchasing from and supporting a small British company was an important factor in my choice when purchasing the throw, so knowing who ran the company and where the weaving was done gave my purchase a very personal touch. “Great service and brilliant blankets. Bought several now and very happy. My only observation was when the blankets arrive because they are folded some of the creases in the blanket are quite deep or if an edge was caught and folded inside it takes a while for this to come out. Apart from that totally delighted”
