About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I ordered two blanket throws, which arrived before time. The two blanket throws were excellent, the size, the feel and the colour were all as described/shown, with which I was very pleased. If I need any more, I will be using this firm again. The throws are very warm for these winter nights. I had the houndstooth and navy & mustard, both very stylish.”

“What an amazing company this is my third purchase the quality of the blankets is superb the colours fantastic. I bought the last two as a gift for two people and they love them they said they are so warm and will be superb this winter. Would give these as a gift many times the next one will be my daughter. We will all need a quality blanket this winter with the fuel prices going up.”

“I love the blanket and the colour of navy and mustard is exactly what I wanted. The reason for the loss of one star is the size. Ideally, I wanted a 'knee' blanket and the small size I ordered is just a bit long and thin for that purpose and the medium was too bulky. However, the small is serving my purpose with a bit of adjustment when using it. The quality is superb.”
