About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I was looking for a baby blanket for my lovely neighbor's new baby boy and came across the beautiful blankets by The British Blanket Company. These are absolutely top quality British made, from the sheep farmers to spinners, dyers and weavers. Exceptional quality. I'm delighted with my purchase and baby is apparently already trying to eat it, so it must be good!”

“A beautiful soft wool British blanket in the midst of a heating crisis, cannot be overrated. It arrived and is heavenly to look at and is awesome on the bed. Weighty, warm and inviting it really does help a good nights sleep.”

“Just over a year ago I purchased a 'chair blanket'. My elderly mum loved it so much, she took it home with her (perfect for an elderly person as it is warm without being bulky and a trip hazard). I just purchased a replacement, definitely needed this year and I'm nice and toasty in this chilly weather. Lovely quality blanket, pretty colours and such a pleasure to buy a British product that is made in Britain. Great customer service, easy to buy. Highly recommended.”

“I use them (bought about 10) to cover my NEW 6 seater sofa, and chairs & especially keep snug on those cold winter days & evenings. Excellent quality, wish they could do an even bigger size. I rarely recommend stuff, but these throws are excellent. I purchased the Charcoal and Silver Grey Herringbone Throw.”

“The blanket was exactly as expected, however, this was purchased as a Christmas gift for someone in the household, unfortunately, the packaging has the British blanket branding all over the outside, therefore, the surprise was immediately spoilt when the intended recipient of the gift was at home when the item arrived and immediately enquired about who the lucky recipient might be.. this was a little disappointing considering the cost of the gift. I feel the company could be more discreet regarding the advertising on the packaging, especially around Christmas! If the surprise had not been spoilt I would have given 5 stars.”
