“I have 2 words of advice for anyone taking a course through the TEFL Academy; DO IT! I was in the same position as you and another review made me go for it. Now I have my TEFL qualification and have applied for several positions in Asia, with this course, and the people who run it, I would still be stocking shelves in a supermarket.”

“My son and I have just completed our TEFL course courtesy of the TEFL Academy together and now are both preparing to go off and teach in South America. What's great about TEFL is it doesn't matter what background you're from or what age you are - it's a new direction for anyone looking to see the world and have a rewarding experience. I would recommend this course.”

“I was working as at tattoo artist in Brighton for the last 5 years. As much as I love doing my art I was due for a change of scene and TEFL allowed me to do that. The course does exactly what it says on the tin and I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn to teach English as a foreign language.”

“TEFL Academy do exactly what they promise - by the end of the 120 hour course I felt confident that I could not only stand up in front of a class but have the confidence to teach well and succeed. I think this is a difficult skillset to instill in a student, and particularly now I'm a teacher myself, I realise how well prepared the course really is. If TEFL is in your plans then The TEFL Academy should definitely be considered.”

“Great course, good value for money, great teachers. Even if you're just looking to teach on a gap year this is a great course for you. The TEFL Academy in Aberdeen was where I studied and I have nothing buy good things to say about them. Put simply - if you're going to do TEFL this is the course to take!”

“I am an enthusiastic traveller and until now have done everything from fruit picking to bar work to pay my way but when I turned 30 it occurred to me that if I wanted to keep up a lifestyle where I get to spend time in different parts of the world it would really help to get a skill set like TEFL. I have to say that 1 year in and it's already improved my quality of life. I get such satisfaction from teaching and the world is my oyster. The course was a good one and I wanted to say thanks!”

“I often find that these sorts of courses sound good in the blurb but in practice turn out to be ways to package up home study courses as actual tuition. That was NOT the case with The TEFL Academy. There were some really helpful hours in the classroom with an excellent teacher and ongoing support with the home study elements that really helped. I am about to take a job in Asia and can't wait to get started.”

“A big thanks to The TEFL Academy. It takes to dedication to become an English teacher and a lot of hard work but as long as you are given the correct support it's an achievable goal. I was working in a pub and now I am the teacher to a classroom of eager students. I feel I have really broadened my horizons. If you need to change your life this is one way to go about it. One good way!”
