“I really enjoyed doing this course. It was well organised and has given me an excellent base to start my teaching career. I found the modules and weekend practical class interesting and informative. The assignments really helped to put everything together. Also thanks to the tutors for their support and feedback.”

“The price certainly made me happy! Great value for money as the resources, tutoring and support were invaluable. The 20 hour weekend was great fun, with a helpful, dedicated tutor who taught through a variety of means to ensure her students were engaged and enthused. The online modules are well written, informative and easy to work with. The assignments were appropriate, with tutors on hand to provide advice to ensure success in each module. Overall, I am one happy, QUALIFIED TEFL teacher - thanks to The TEFL Academy!”

“I was extremely happy with the TEFL Academy and the course materials, resources and support from the tutors. I completed the 120 hour combined course and attended the 20 hour weekend classroom tutorial. I found that invaluable, the tutor was very experienced and we covered every aspect of what would be expected in a classroom. I strongly recommend TEFL.”

“The TEFL Academy have given me the knowledge and confidence to move to Vietnam and teach English! Before I took the TEFL course I was working a 9-5 office job in England, dreaming of travel. Now I work 15 hour weeks, teaching children and teenagers a language which enables them to better their lives. It couldn't be any more rewarding.”

“I enjoyed doing the TEFL Academy course. It was very professionally presented throughout. The 20 hour classroom part was educational, fun and interesting. It has given me great insight into lesson planning and good teaching tips. The assignments at the end were a challenge but I wouldn't expect anything less if you aim to become a TEFL teacher.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my 120 TEFL hours. Both the classroom and online course have challenged me to research and do independent work. As well as that the course materials have helped me to prepare better for the assignments. It was great to have feedbacks from tutors on my pefrormance and progress. “I finished the course a week or so ago. I am impressed by it. Have suggested to a few of my friends to start it in the upcoming months as well. The topics such as classroom management, lesson planning, material development and teaching language skills were interesting, informative and important to be familiar with. The text was written in a clear and informative manner. Overall, I feel that I had fun. I guess, because there was always some freedom with the assignment, so you could take it as creative as you wanted. Marking was strict but fair. My first entry was returned to me and asked to be re-done. I enjoyed the strictness. It was satisfying in fighting for higher grades after. The internet course webpage is clean and easy to use. It feels like the course is preparing the students well for going abroad to teach. I am thankful for the experience.”

“The course was clearly structured, and laid out. The in-person teaching was carried out in an enthusiastic and informative manner and was a lot of fun! The online course materials were varied and covered a lot of ground and online feedback was prompt once you submitted your assignments. I highly recommend the TEFL Academy course, especially as it has now given me the means to go and travel the world! Very satisfied with the whole experience!”

“I took & passed the combined 120 hours course and found it inspiring. A fantastic investment bringing as it did a level of expert guidance, instruction, feedback and high quality resources. The 20 hours of instruction are invalauble - don't pass them by! The individual feedback of my assignments belied the fact that it was mostly an online course - one felt as if one had a dedicated tutor on hand. I enjoyed the course so much I am now seriously considering changing careers and becoming a TEFL teacher full time. I recommend the course highly.”

“I always thought I had a good grasp of English grammar until I did this course! The course was very well structured and informative. It covered the essential topics in good detail and highlighted words and phrases that were important. I felt it was very good value for money and the course tutors were very supportive. I have started my new job feeling very confident with all the skills that I have learned.”
