“I signed up to the 120 hour course this summer and am so thankful that I did! The online course was easy to follow, with helpful resources and well thought out assignments. The practical course was a huge benefit, and I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of completing a TEFL course to ensure that they attend and give it their all. I found it really helpful, and hadn't been expecting to take as much away from it as I actually did. Feedback from the tutors was helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future. I head out to China on my first teaching job next week!”

“I found the TEFL course helped me on a new career path. I took the course in Nottingham early 2015. The local tutor was excellent- very motivational. The remainder of the course also had clear instructions and support. I learnt so much. It is intense and quite demanding but achievable. Since passing the course I have worked with various agencies teaching English to overseas students at home. I've now been appointed as East Midlands coordinator for LEC so will be finding new teachers and hosts. Who would have believed what an opportunity was available from a course costing just less than £200. Thank you so much for helping me change direction in my late 50's and being able to fit a new career around my home life.”

“Their response time was always good, they delivered a quality product. Really in-depth learning, challenging, difficult at times, and very engaging! What pleased me the most was on my second assessment, I didn't understand the Tutor's feedback, and within three days I had a second tutor provide feedback that was fantastic and really supportive. I think it's wonderful that you can have that relationship with an online study academy that's interactive.”

“I took part in the 120 hour accredited TEFL course and could not recommend it more!! For this course 100 hours were online and the other 20 were in a classroom. I loved the 20 hours in the classroom having a wonderful teacher and learning with some great people. The teacher had previously taught abroad and so was very motivating! The 100 hours online were set out well and easy to follow. This included 10 modules and 2 assignments. Module tests were marked virtually straight away and when I emailed tutors for help on the assignments I was emailed back within 24 hours! Whilst studying this course I applied for TEFL jobs through recommended websites given to me by my teacher. Thanks to the TEFL academy I am not going to China to teach and cannot wait! Overall this course was brilliant and gave a lot of assistance on job applying throughout. Very very happy!!”

“From the initial subscription you could tell that this was a very professional company. You immediately felt that any questions or problems could and would, be resolved by a click of a button. Indeed, needing clarification during the course, Mariona (a TEFL teacher) helped resolve my question in a very efficient manner. She helped to put my mind to rest and encouraged me to push on to achieve the certificate. A big thank you also to Mark whose valuable feedback was gratefully received. This learning experience with the TEFL Acadamy has given me the motivation to look at further courses. It has given me the self belief that anything is possible. “The end of course assignments were awesome. Other online TEFL courses don't have assignments. Students are forced to apply what they have learned in the modules. Very happy with the online course.”

“The tefl academy was very professional and efficient in its approach. I was never left waiting for answers when I made a enquiry, and I was given very thorough feedback throughout my time on the assignments. I felt I had the support and help of TEFL and it enabled me to complete my course to the best of my ability and achieve a really good grade. I really liked how the course was laid out and organised. It made things very easy to understand.”

“I enjoyed studying with The TEFL Academy because I always found them reassuringly and consistently organised and efficient. The face to face weekend was extremely stimulating and it was useful to meet other students of all ages and backgrounds. Our tutor, Niamh was quite inspirational and really encouraged me to get going with the online content. The way the materials are organised is excellent with quite a lot of challenge built in to the activities. I would recommend printing off the resources to use as a reference point for the future. I am really proud of myself to have successfully completed the course and look forward to using what I have learned in my future lessons in France.”
