“I currently teach English abroad in SE Asia, having recently completed the 120 hour online course with the additional 20 hour classroom course. I thought the instructor within the classroom course was excellent - positive and engaging. The online course with The TEFL Academy was very high quality and in depth, providing the standard of TEFL that a lot of recruiters will ask for. Additionally, during the online course their support was always a simple message away which was great to know. I would definitely recommend the TEFL academy to anyone consider taking the course. It will open a lot of doors and exciting opportunities for those who like to travel!”

“I found this to be a good, entertaining course and despite having been an English teacher for 17 years, I still discovered some very interesting things in the course. The great thing is it can be done at your own pace so you are able to juggle other commitments to fit it in.”

“I started the TEFL Academy course in September 2017 with a lot of enthusiasm to finish as soon as possible and applying for a teaching job in China. Although I was still studying for the online course, the recruiters from China accepted already my first certificate that I got for attending 20 hours classroom TEFL course. So, you can apply for an English teacher position while you are still taking the online course in order to take the second certificate for 100 online TEFL course. But meanwhile, my plans changed and I postponed my departure to China. The TEFL online course is well focused on helping you to design an interesting English class during which time students cannot get bored. Planning an English class is more difficult than I first thought, but the well structured modules helps you gradually to understand the stages which you have to consider and the students' skills which you want to improve. Moreover, while you are doing the well focused activities from every module, you have the chance to review for yourself a lot of aspects related to grammar, pronunciation and so on. This is real helpful especially for non-native English speakers, like me, who want to go and teach abroad. It was a really nice experience and I strongly recommend it for you too. Thank you!”

“I searched a lot before choosing a course source. I finally chose The TEFL Academy relying on the positive reviews I read. I hope mine also will help people to choose this course. The course was very interesting, interactive and practical. It was not only a boring theoretical course. All the aspects of teaching a foreign language were included in the curriculum. There were a lot of useful ideas for having interactive class assignments, like games and competitions. It was also important to know about peculiarities to consider for different nationalities. The course helped me to know a lot of details and be more confident in my search for a job as an English teacher. The team was very nice and responsive to any email request. “The information covered in the course was interesting and engaging and I think the extra help after finishing the course will be extremely useful. The fact that cv and cover letter help is provided a source we'll a so job listings is a great factor and should help me massively when beginning my teachings career.”

“I was searchinv for an opportunity to go back to teaching as for the moment I am working in a companh and TEFL was just my startinv point. The course it is so well-organised, it is a perfect combination between practice and theory. “The TEFL Academy was a perfect way for me to learn the basics of teaching a foreign language within a short time period but at my own pace. You are not overwhelmed with content but are given basics to allow you to create you own lessons. Another reason the TEFL Academy worked for me is because it did not simply teach me the essentials of language teaching but also encouraged me work independently to encounter some of the problems and pressures that teachers face. Online you are given the chance to design you own lesson plans and a scheme of work. In addition the weekend class provides you with the opportunity to practice teaching under similar conditions to an actual classroom.”
