“I found the 120 hour course hugely informative and helpful. The classroom time was key to a real understanding of how to teach English as a foreign language. The online aspect of the course runs smoothly and progressively begins to fit together. Would recommend to all.”

“The course is well structured and interesting with lots of additional material to follow up. The weekend in class was interested as well and tutors were supportive and helpful, replying in a time and very nicely manner. I uploaded the last assignment just the day before to finish the course but the tutors kept me updated me about the results. I am very happy I completed the course.”

“Great support during the learning process. Easy to understand progression in the course content and your learning. There was a quick turn around of your grade once you submitted your assignments along with extensive feedback. I also liked the fact that there was an intensive part where you could ask questions to the instructor in person as well as the online learning part for your own study that you did in your own time. I think it would have been beneficial to have studied some of the online content before going into the intensive weekend so not everything was so new but that would just be a personal preference as everything you are exposed to on the weekend is explained very well. Over all I had a great experience with TEFL Academy and would honestly recommend anyone interested in getting a TEFL certification to do it with TEFL Academy.”

“I was worried at first whether I would have time to accomplish the 120-hour TEFL certificate as I work full-time. However, the structure of the online course is easy to use and well organised. The assignment's were a little challenging, although I really enjoyed the process of learning to create lesson plans and the feedback was always detailed and helpful. The online course took me back to the basics of my native language. I learnt so much about English grammar and have improved my own language skills. The 20hour weekend course was really fun and insightful. Our tutor was fantastic! She was really inspiring and supportive. Overall, the course has given me the knowledge and tools to become a well-motivated English teacher and has made me excited for my future.”

“I was very pleased that I was able to structure my education around my current full-time position. The modules were easy to follow and the activities within them were very useful. I felt confident ahead of each end-of-module test, as the content was simple to digest and definitely improved my understanding of the English language. The assignments incorporated the modules very well and provided a context that I would not only be able to relate to in any future teaching environment, but also prompted a practical approach that I intend to configure to suit any teaching opportunities that arise. My only negative, and it is very minor upon reflection, was the waiting time for feedback on the assignments, which were supposed to be back within 3-5 working days, however I had to wait two weeks; the feedback was very detailed and incredibly useful, which more than made up for this, though.”

“The course I completed was the 120 hours online course, and I found being able to study in my own time extremely useful, being a full time worker. The structure of the the course is logically organised and easy to follow, the language used is very clear and straight to the point. Each module alternates concept explanations to exercises and activities, which made me feel like I wasn't only told notions, but that I was learning through practice. At the end of each module there are one or more quizzes to explore all aspects learnt that are quite easy to undertake upon revision. The feedback is immediate, which is very helpful, however, I wish it was possible to see what questions I got wrong and what would have been the right answer. At the end of the 10 modules there are two end of course assignments, which allow you to review all that you have learnt along the way and which give you a good idea of what sort of research and planning you would be required to do as an EFL teacher. I have received the feedback and evaluation of my assignments almost two weeks after submitting them (which was a little disappointing because it says between 3-5 working days), and they were very detailed and comprehensive, I was very happy with them. I was extremely excited to find out that once the course has been completed, the TEFL academy provides you with CV and cover letter templates and links to websites that can help you find a job as an EFL teacher. Overall I am very satisfied, I have suggested this course to a couple of colleagues of mine and I would recommend it to anyone interested.”

“Before starting the TEFL course I was very nervous, I did not have a lot of experience with a computer and I never done an online course. I found the introduction extremely helpful on how to follow the course and to use the worksheets. I finished the 120 hours well before time with very good feedback. I'm very happy to have done this as it will help me for my future job.”

“The TEFL Academy offers a great online course. I was initially apprehensive to do an online course but the experience has been very positive. The course is well structured and thorough.
