“The course was very well structured and easy to follow. I will almost certainly be referring back to the notes when I start my teaching career. The course carefully detailed many teaching strategies and the necessities of being a good teacher for pupils of every level. It was well priced and the 20 hour weekend classroom part was very enlightening. It was run by an experienced teacher who passed on much of her knowledge that will come in handy in the future for sure. Overall, highly recommended”

“I found the online course an exceptional resource, covering a broad range of subject matter at a detailed but easily comprehensible level. The classroom days were very informative and helpful for the more practical side of teaching and our teacher was excellent and engaging. I thought the assignments at the end of the course were a comprehensive way of assimilating the knowledge learnt in the modules and provided a good basis for what to expect in a real teaching environment.”

“The weekend tutor Neil was excellent, he was very encouraging and I noticed that he made sure that the less confident students felt included. As an older student I found the online course a bit challenging at times, however after the first couple of modules it became more routine and easier to follow. I would recommend this course, especially to people of my age group, who want to retire early to somewhere warm and sunny, and are looking for an way to keep their brain active and earn an extra income.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the TEFL course. It was very informative and practical. Excellent amount of information in each module and easy to follow with plenty of extra information if you need it. Can't wait to get into teaching now. Can not recommend it enough. I managed to learn enough to build up my confidence. Brilliant set of skills to have.”

“I felt the course covered all topics very well from actual grammar rules to how to teach a classroom. It made the concept of teaching a classroom of students much less daunting and gave me the skills so that when I enter this classroom I will be confident in know what I am meant to be doing as well as being well prepared for the lesson. The only thing that I would advise is that people allow adequate time for their assignments to be graded and have feedback returned. Overall I am totally satisfied with the course and I feel it was totally worth it to purchase this course with the TEFL Academy.”

“The 120 hour combined course that I have just completed was interesting and well balanced. The teacher led section at the beginning was outstanding and empowering for the students. Tutor feedback on the computer based sections was also very useful.”

“The course was easy to follow and nicely segmented into chapters for doing short bursts of studying when I was super busy with other commitments. The taught part of the course was great and really gave the opportunity to try out new skills. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to take a TEFL.”

This I confirmed before I made payment and I really enjoyed the course. I now feel prepared to enter any ESL classroom with the eye opening knowlwdge acquired during the course. “I was so pleased with the overall online course as it was so user friendly with interesting material that was really well written with so many resources and helpful links to further reinforce the material within each module. There was so much to learn in easy bite-size chunks of well designed modules. “Firstly I got a job offer within 2 weeks of completing the course and will be off to China soon with confidence due to the knowledge I gained through the course materials. Overall the course structure and material is efficient and effective to complete the online tests and assignments. I would recommend the company to anyone who is planing to take up this course as one of the most important part of taking a course online is the communication level and The TEFL academy was always helpful in answering queries and giving feedback promptly.”

“What made me the happiest about this course was the amount and quality of feedback from the tutors. It allowed me to really concentrate on the parts of my assignments that needed changing, which was a huge time-saver. Whilst I was still finishing my assignments, I moved to Japan to teach English. Now that I have competed my course, I feel that I can confidently teach English to any one, even though I am only 18 and have not yet gone to university (on a gap year). I believe that TEFL is for all ages, as long as you have a passion or teaching other people. If you want a flexible but thorough course, I would recommend his one.”

“The course was easy to work through whilst also providing a comprehensive guide to becoming a TEFL teacher. If you experience any issues the online tutors are there to support and advise throughout the course. I found attending the 20 hour classroom part of the 120 hour combined course was very beneficial in grasping what is required to be a TEFL teacher. Being able to work with other TEFL trainees and with a qualified TEFL tutor helped answer any questions or uncertainties I had at the outset of the course. I would definitely recommend the TEFL Academy if you are looking for a very good TEFL course”

“Every module was interesting and engaging, they also contained many examples and activities which made sure I understood and remembered what I was reading. The 2 day classroom experience was really helpful too, as it helped me understand some of the grammar points in the grammar module which was very intense. The tutor was very experienced and she made the 2 days very interactive and interesting.”

“From the beginning the staff at the Academy have been fantastic , when you start you have 20 hours in class with other students ,that was great, the teacher was very professional ,the online course contained all the necessary information to make learning as easy as possible, For me it should have been very difficult , I am a 58 years old Italian that never went to school in England , but it shows that with the right people and directions anything can be achieved ,I give a massive thank you to all the staff at the Academy ,”

I had my doughts before signing up, but I can recommend the Tefl Accademy to any one seeking to do Tefel online, the course offers excellent online theory with tests and at the end 2 assignments witch test the practical side, to do lesson planing. I really have learned a lot. They helped me a lot after phoning and emailing them a lot, always receiving friendly responses and they where always helpfully and eager to help. By doing your Tefl via The Tefl Accademy, you will be very pleased that you invested in them.”
