“Having ordered many different kits from Tastesmiths since the beginning of the year I can honestly say they are absolutely delicious. The instructions are so simple to follow and you produce great tasting meals that are much healthier than takeaways. My whole family loves them and they're a firm favourite with my 14 year old daughter. Just ordered 8 further kits and have frozen them to use over the next couple of months. Try them and you'll be hooked! I would highly recommend Tastesmiths and will be making more purchases in the future.”

Hi Stuart, sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy coking with us! We advertise our kits as arriving with around 14 days on their dates - this is because they're purely fresh herbs and spices. The kits can be frozen and perform perfectly direct from the freezer.

“I love these kits, I've bought 2 bundles now and tried the korma masala and tikka masala. The others are in my freezer for when I want to cook another curry, love to have them in stock! They taste amazing, especially if you make it and leave it to try the next day 🙂”

“Have made Chicken Balti, Chicken Rogan Josh, Sri Lankan Chicken and Goan Prawn Curry. All tasted fabulous, in fact restaurant quality. Easy to follow instructions, lovely fresh ingredients. Would recommend very highly.”

Hi George, thanks for the review. Pleased to hear that you enjoyed cooking with us. As for the use by date all our ingredients are fresh and there is the option to freeze the kits, if you do decide to do this we advise cooking the kits from frozen instead of defrosting them.

“I have bought from Tastesmiths on several occasions now and have tried pretty much every curry. Their kits are well priced, all ingredients arrive nice and fresh and are very easy to use. We always keep a few in the freezer (tip: ginger can be peeled easily when frozen, with a veg peeler). Favourites are the Balti, Makhani and a slow cooked Lamb Madras. Delicious!”

“All the curries are excellent & the instructions are so easy to follow + when you’ve gained confidence cooking them as I have , you can just add your own extras & freeze the leftovers for another day”

“This is the second time I have purchased sound 6 to 8 packets of Tastesmiths products. Superbly delivered and exceptional taste quality. Short dates due to the products being freshly made for each recipe, however, easy to freeze and defrost when needed. I asked for 'surprises' amongst my order and it is great to find something you were not expecting. All eagerly awaiting to be used. The Goan Curry is our favourite, but the other packs are almost equally as good.”

“Had the Korma which was superb,such a improvement from the spice jar type and even some of the restaurants.we also had the Makhini which was very good but i have nothing to compare it to,all in all a welcome change.”
