“Excellent products, ive tried quite a few now and my favs are tikka masala, rogan josh, plus the pilau rice is delicous, plus all the kits are easy to use and understand and if i can use them then anybody can use them with ease. Well done Tastesmiths, will be placing another order soon..x 👍😊”

“Anyone with even basic skills in the kitchen can produce an excellent dish using these kits. The only advantage an experienced cook has is being able to do it quicker.”

“Fabulous kits and lovely instruction card included that can be folded and stood up, making it easier to read while you're cooking up magic. These really are the best tasting curries I've had outside of India. Superb service and reasonable price, so I'll be a long-term repeat customer! Highly recommended!”

“Recently I made chicken tikka massage on Friday night .. enjoyed making, and eating it... on Saturday I ordered the same dish from a local Indian Takeaway... I really preferred Friday's Tastesmiths meal!”

“I absolutely love Tastesmiths. Stumbled upon them and am so glad I did! Have made jerk chicken, dal and makhani and all three have been amazing. Basically authentic, restaurant standard food created at home. Recipes are easy to follow and quick. Generous portions and I love the heat guide. Three more kits to try before I place my next order.”

Hi Andrew, All of our kits contain fresh ingredients, so naturally have a limited shelf life. Most of our customers freeze the kits upon receipt to ensure that the life of the kits is maximised, and can be safely consumed after the best before date. Thanks, Kru

“Lot of fuss to have your mouth burnt. Even made mild still very spicy. I like to taste ingredients not just hot.”

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback here on reviews.io! Sorry to hear about your experience with us! We find our 'Heat Guide' which comes with each kit is usually very accurate when tailoring the curries for mild/medium/hot. When tasting the dish before serving, if too hot, adding items like cream, or natural yoghurt can temper the spice of the dish for future reference.

“Having tried other curry kits, which left me very disappointed, I was doubtful if these would be any good. My wife bought them, so had to use them. I must admit, so far we have not had a disappointing curry from the TasteSmiths range. Much more convenient than having to buy all the seperate herbs and spices and with clear instructions these curry kits are a great addition to the store cupboard ( or the freezer )”
