“I ordered a gift voucher intending to give it to my wife as part of a Christmas gift. I was a little disappointed to realise it was in fact an e-voucher. However I look forward to ordering from you in the future.”

“Used our first kit tonight it was really nice.You don’t get full marks because the chillies were starting to go off and the use by date is 05/12 !Other kits now in the freezer.”

“The flavour was good but preparation took AGES!! I was also disappointed that all the dishes looked the same. However, I will buy again, just for the flavour.”

“Have just been using my first order from Tastesmiths. Have loved the curries but I have say I was very disappointed in the Dahl . Dahl is favourite of mine and have made recipes before - which were much nicer than Tastesmiths.”

“These curries have given me a completely new vision of Asian food. The ingredients are extremely well put together and the instructions are very easy to understand. I like the way the recipes can be varied to suit all tastes. Better than anything I have tasted even in India-and made by me in my kitchen!”

“Food is great. Would be better if was packaged to go through a letter box - if not in, Royal Mail will take back to depot meaning can’t refrigerate until next day...”

“The upside is the ingredients are fresh. The down side is they are short dated. You can freeze them so given you buy 6 at a time and probably don’t eat curry daily best in mind you will have a freezer full of the things. I have made tikka masala so far and to be fair it was very nice”

“Delivery was prompt. I bought the 8 pack promotion. I've only tried the Goan curry so far, and I must say it lacked heat! I followed instructions and chopped all three chillies for a "hot" flavour, disappointed. However the spiciness was fine!”

Hi Andy, really glad you enjoyed cooking our Goan. In terms of the heat, we've had to try and gauge what the majority of the population would find hot, I feel you might be like us and enjoy the hot hot end of the scale. We often add extra chillies to a dish (when my partner isn't eating it) to turn the heat up, this can be done without ruining your base flavours. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review here, we very much appreciate your feedback.

“2 of the 6 packs were missing an ingredient - likely a quality control issue. The company were good to deal with and responded quickly to rectify the issue. I can particularly recommend the Jerk marinade, which was absolutely gorgeous”
