“We were in touch with Sykes about the cleanliness of our property, and the fact that somebody started working on the property (maintenance) while we were there without any notice. We were initially ignored, but after making contact we were ghosted! The only thing that really matters is that there is somebody to help when something goes wrong, and Sykes let themselves down badly in this instance.”
“We had a lovely time at Maywood in Seahouses. The house was really well presented & had everything we needed. Situated in an area close to the beach & town well located for the co-op & decent Restaurants & take aways. All within a short walk. Plenty of places to visit not too far away. Would definitely recommend this lovely house to stay for a week or two.”
“We loved our stay for two weeks in Lower Court Byre, Kinsham, Herefordshire. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable and the garden is lovely. We had wonderful weather to make maximum use of the garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place to go for a holiday.”
“Helpful with a request to extend my booking but it did takes a few attempts and several weeks to get any reply via the WhatsApp contact that people with existing bookings are asked to use. Never had a major issue with properties booked through Sykes though and would use again if they had a property I was interested in booking.”

Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, there if needed but otherwise gave us total privacy. Loved watching the red kites and the deer on the hillside. Altogether a fantastic holiday. Thank you.”
“The lodge was in a beautiful setting and it was very peaceful. The towels and bathrobes were very good quality. Everything in the lodge was clean except for the microwave, toaster and the oven which was extremely dirty, . We had to cut short our stay due to a very firm bed which gave me a very painful and stiff back but I realise the firmness of a bed is very personal and you can't please every one.

Secondly the accommodation was as stated and as shown in the imagery.
Accommodation was comfortable, spacious and had all the required amenities. Also was kept clean.
Location was great and overall I would recommend this again.”
“Recent stay was lovely in Pwllheli. Apartment in a fabulous location and great size. We had pretty much everything we needed. Ironing board / iron would have been useful. Few maintenance issues and needs a bit of tlc. For what we paid I would have expected it to be better.”
“A very enjoyable week in Ladycroft Barn, with a special mention of the exceptionally warm welcome provided by the owners, Peter and Annie. The 'welcome pack' of provisions was greatly appreciated as were their recommendations for best walking areas, local pubs and restaurants etc. The Barn has a lovely outlook on to the garden which is full of attractive trees, all planted by Peter 20-odd years ago, and we enjoyed our walk round it with him, accompanied by the ever present Oscar the Jack Russell and Bobby the Norfolk Terrier.”

“After having such a great holiday in Tenby the family asked me to re book again. The property states only 1 dog, but after a discussion with Michael last year who very kindly contacted the owners I knew it was possible to request 2 dogs.
Michael obtained permission again for the new booking to take 2 digs.
