“Enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay here. The renovation of the barn has been very well designed. Liked the sliding doors between the kitchen and lounge so you could either keep them open or closed.
Parking the car wasn't the easiest given that it's on a bit of a slope (car wasn't that big) but the owners were very helpful. Parking on the roads outside is also an option.
In fact the owners are very helpful with any query was much appreciated as it makes a stay much more relaxing. Thank you
The barn is perfectly situated for the train station for trains to Sheffield, Chesterfield and Nottingham.
The welcome pack of bread, milk, jam, fruit etc was also much appreciated.

“Great short break at Oak View in Keswick. Problem with the heating on the first night but it was fixed within an hour of my phone call first thing the next morning - excellent service. Only possible problem for some may be the access stairs - not for those with mobility problems! Great flat,will be back!”

“Cottage was lovely. Just right for two and had all we needed. Was in a quiet area. Bed was comfy. We didn't move the car all week. Either walked from cottage each day or caught the little bus which runs every half hour. Lovely walks nearby and also visited Howarth. There is lots more to see and do,we shall be back. Plenty of good coffee/eating places. We enjoyed a couple of visits to the cafe at the the PO just up the road too.”

Could have done with a few more items in the kitchen - tin opener, cafetière, larger bowls, grater etc but otherwise the appartment was very well equipped and great location”
“Lovely cottage, well equipped, spotlessly clean, beautiful interior. Would highly recommend. Only 2 small issues - take your own fire stick as TV is not smart TV. We did find one in drawer which must have been left by previous occupants but had this not been left we could not of watched films etc.
We visited 1st week of February, it was cold and wet, the heating does come on 3 times but as soon as goes off the downstairs becomes quite cold. Maybe leave on at a lower temperature as would maintain a certain warmth and probably be cheaper in long run. Saying that the log burner was fabulous.”
