“Cottage we had was damp and in need of a good clean
Bedding was not ironed,or may have not been changed from last hire, although sheets were clean, paper on bedroom ceiling was peeling off,crack in wood floor.
But worse was the smell of damp
Tap in toilet down stairs came off in your hand”

We’ve stayed in some lovely properties and not been disappointed”

“Gorgeous views from the house, a nice walk from the property through the woods.
Property was clean with almost everything we needed. The Kingarth Hotel 15 mins drive is well worth a visit. Very good food and friendly staff.”
“Large window needs blinds or proper curtains.
Bathroom needs a revamp.
I cleaned the edge at the bottom of the bath that was weeks worth of dust and hair.
Bath seal grotty.
I hoovered the sofa and put the throw in the washer as it was smelly and stained.
The oven and extractor fan were dirty.
The toaster is rusty.
The dining table needs replacing.
The bed was comfy.
There is a number on the fridge to contact the cleaning manager but after driving for 5 hours I'm not ringing someone to tell them what they should have done.
We wouldn't stay again.”
“Our 3rd year running and like a home from home for us. Extremely comfortable throughout with everything we need, well fitted out kitchen, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.
Super location for walking, we hardly used the car, bus stop 100 metres away to Howarth and on to Hebden Bridge etc, 2 mile walk on track to Howarth if you prefer.
Lovely hosts and welcome pack, hope to return next summer.
