“Our 3rd year running and like a home from home for us. Extremely comfortable throughout with everything we need, well fitted out kitchen, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.
Super location for walking, we hardly used the car, bus stop 100 metres away to Howarth and on to Hebden Bridge etc, 2 mile walk on track to Howarth if you prefer.
Lovely hosts and welcome pack, hope to return next summer.

“A fabulous bungalow in a lovely location. Very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely time. The garden is beautiful with lovely plants. Our dog Duncan loved the secret paths!

“Excellent accommodation. Very clean and modern inside.a perfect location 5 minutes from beach. Would definitely return. The only problem was the temporary scaffolding which was noisy in the windy weather and the debris which prevented us from sitting on the decking. However I would recommend the apartment. The owner was particularly helpful with all the information concerning our stay.”
“A lovely cottage with the enclosed garden perfect for our dog. The Poltimore Inn served excellent food and is dog friendly. Comfortable beds and sofas, great for relaxing. Enjoyed our week at Exmoor View.”
“On the first night, the bed base fully collapsed meaning I had to sleep on the floor. At 73 and disabled this was not good. (Several previous reports of this in the visitors book). Why wasn't it fixed?
The kitchen drawer fell off onto my foot leading to bruising.
The shower door kept falling off the tracks. I couldn't lift it back on so had to go without for a week.
The owner did replace the bed base but overall the place needs extensive repairs.
The location is very good but that's all I can say about it.
I didn't expect or pay for 5* but received -1*.”
“We arrived at our holiday cottage on 13th Sept to find that the owner was not.letting as a holiday rental. We had no notification of this and had to make numerous phone calls 2 skyes to try find alternative accommodation for us and our 3 dogs.
You did find somewhere and while it was spacious the courtyard was tiny and was a big issue due to our dogs.”

As we have two dogs it is good to be able to select a property that is dog friendly in the area we want to take our holiday.
The prices have been excellent and the quality of the properties we’ve stayed in has been excellent.
