“Lovely location in Seahouses.
The house was clean and well equipped.
Only problem is parking. We were able to use the allocated parking space, but had to make several shunts to get in and out. Although there are signs to say No Parking they are ignored. The shops had large waste bins and parked cars which made it difficult.”
“We have just returned from a week at sunset view & have only excellent comments to make about this property & the owners Kathleen & Tom. The cottage was in a good spot for the things we wanted to do whilst in Ireland between Galway & Tuam. The grounds were very well kept & the swing on the lawn was well used by my adult granddaughters 😊 Kathleen & Tom have a donkey & ponies off site which are available to see & feed should you wish too, there was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived bread, milk tea, coffee sugar plus a few extras. The local supermarket was 9 minutes away & very reasonably priced. We would definitely return again as nothing was too much trouble & it was home from home .”
“This latest cottage had neither a welcome pack or information pack, which was very frustrating. Previous cottages at least provided one if not path packages”
“We had a lovely week staying at Jay cottage in Weymouth. We had sunshine everyday and enjoyed days out in and around Weymouth. The accomodation had everything we needed. It was our second visit there and we hope to visit again.”
“Lovely bungalow,with lots of outside seating.For us it was a very pleasant stay with very nice
surroundings.If I was to be picky,as a physically challenged person would have loved a ramp
at the rear so I could have ventured into the garden,as I am physically challenged and I cannot
climb up and down steps,but all in all a great find,would definitely recommend.”
“Very nice cottage. Clean and tidy. Just what we have come to expect from sykes cottages, however we did book another holiday for September this year but due to unforseen circumstances had to cancel, but not able to get our deposit back, which we found very disappointing, considering how many sykes cottages we have booked in the past, maybe you need to reconsider your cancellation policy.

The description of the accommodation was accurate and directions to the property were easy to follow. I received regular updates and reminders which was reassuring.
2 Peninsula Apartments is a great place to stay: spacious, clean and an easy walk in to St Ives or down to Porthminster Beach. It was worth getting up early to watch the sunrise from the terrace. I highly recommend Sykes and this apartment.
