“The cottage was clean, well equipped, cosy and welcoming to us and the dogs!
Would recommend as a good base for rambling on Snowdonia.
The closest town has several takeaways, a co-op and one pub, which was very friendly.
I would say the only downside, would be lack of storage space in the bedrooms.there was three adults on our holiday, but people with children maybe would struggle. There are under bed draws, but no wardrobes.”

“Enjoyed this cottage again. Different vibe as later in the year than last time-log fires, drink in one hand, good book in another. till got out on walks when weather was Ok. Tarn How and Hill Foot within easy distance from the cottage. Visited the Grammar School in the vilage. Very Interesting. A good break. Although wife is convinced there might be resident 'visitor'!”
“We stayed at Little Tigh Clovelly 11th October for a week, was met by Mathew who was very friendly askex about our journey, took us inside where we found a very welcome, welcome pack, Mathew explained how heating worked. The cottage was immaculate with everything we could want. My husband says Mathew has impeccable taste in cars!!!”
“I booked a 3 night break to then be told the owner does not accept 3 day breaks over the festive period. I had a cancellation email no sign of when I will receive a refund. Then I looked in the website and the property is back available for 3 nights but over £2k more than what I booked..!”

“Will never use this company again, the customer service is none existant. I sent over 53 messages and emails with 23 people responding who were not capeable of dealing with a simple issue, The issue was a simple change of dates, charged me twice, took £800 extra out of my account unauthorsied and wouldnt speak to me. An email to the CEO also went unanswered. Most of the propertys are on booking .com and other sites whos customer service is amazing! maybe will try in a few years again when they sack all the senior directors!”
“Blue Cottage is a lovely little cottage. My sister and I stayed for a week and felt comfortable very quickly, it is compact. The lovely welcome card, little bag and a bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We soon got used to the cars beeping to let other cars know they were there, in the daytime, due to the very small road outside the cottage where there is a blind corner, it did not happen at night. We managed to park close by in the layby just past the cottage. It is very well equipped with everything you might need in the kitchen. The owner had said in the advert the they are updating the cottage, we could see where that might be and the updates have already started. The heating is very efficient. We had a lovely stay and would return. Thank you.”
“Beautiful appointed property, wonderful views across Lyme Regis Bay.
However steps up to the property when wet can be quite slippery.
Garage really not wide enough to accommodate 2 family size cars.”
“Very well equipped cottage in the very centre of Southwold. Downstairs is best space of all places we have stayed in Southwold over the years. Spacious, lovely garden for our Cavapoo, light and airy and incredibly well stocked kitchen. Upstairs is tight - comfy double bed but overall footprint is small and stairs are tight too - not suitable for anyone who is not steady on feet.”
“Had a lovely week stay with the family, this was our second visit so knew what to expect. Had an issue with one of the bedroom doors which was resolved quickly - Thank you !! Only other issue was with the TVs and couldn’t get remotes to work, but if you download the Fire TV app - no problem!! Planning on returning next year 😀 for our annual family get together.”
