You ask questions and she talks about her Alexa and she says i can't waste my time repeating. I feel very demoralised, you raise your hand several times and she doesnt answer, she sends you emails and they bounce back, communication is bad and when you say bare with me my emails are on cue, she doesn't want to listen. She says she got no time”

“It's a fantastic course and I have learnt a lot about the civil service even though I don't plan to go into the civil service there is still plenty to learn from all walks of life from better methods for searching for jobs all the way to interview stages. When I herd the work "course" I didn't think much at first because I have had a few bad instances but it was more like a normal conversation most of the time and my tutor Roz is fantastic at bringing a natural feel to the sessions. 5/5 would recommend it to others.”

It is absolutely a complete waste of time.
1. You do not get any real feedback. Whatever you write, it is brilliant.
2. You need to wait for other members. It is fine but... You may wait for them for several hours. And while you are waiting you can't go even to the toilet. Because "all go on a break together". You need to sit and stare at the monitor.
The most important.
If you are prof, you will not get any new information or any help. Just spend your time sending your CVs, doing yoga or even watching TV.
If you are not prof.. You have just graduated or you have a gap in your employment... They will put a huge amount of useless info into your head and that is all. You will get more effect if you just google - how can you find job?”

We also want to add, that there is a scenario where you already have a well thought-out, highly developed CV. If this is the case with you, unfortunately you should never have been recommended to join this course. This course caters for people who have a far less developed CV (if they have one at all).

“I thought the course content was fine and the detail for some of the course was good. However, I was a little disappointed that the instructions for the tasks weren't more clear and most should have some sort of example so a learner knows they're on the right track. I also thought more visual prompts would have been effective to signpost the tasks because there were a lot of EAL learners.
Lastly, I was not pleased with I asked Sam for help with a document and I was given a reprimand, instead of assistance. Not appropriate for educated adults.”
