“When I joined the course I thought it would be strictly focused on the civil service jobs and application. I am positively surprised by the content of the whole course. The layout of the course is perfect, taking you through different stages of finding a job. From the preparation and explanation of how to find a job, job search itself, through creating a targeted CV and cover letter to the interview process and skills to nail an interview. Explanation of the star technique with mock interviews was extremely helpful. I believe this knowledge will help me to get a job in any industry in the future. The facilitator, Trina Brady, was excellent. The delivery of the course was done in a very professional and welcoming manner. She set up clear targets and objectives for each day which was helpful to coordinate with your daily activities. She was able to deal with different participants who required extra attention of support. She has a great deal of patience when assisting with extra requests. In such a short period, she was able to recognize individuals’ strengths and needs and assist when required without being prompted. She provided excellent feedback on individuals' performance during the course. She tailored the pace of the course to the group and helped engage individuals in the participation.
It was an excellent experience and I would recommend the course to anyone who is looking to change their job, get confidence for an interview and increase their chances of securing a new position. Time well spend!”
