“The tutor Jonathan was clear and concise, guided me through all worksheet questions. Explained everything well. Gave very helpful advice and tips and links on where to find everything. Assisted everyone who needed extra assistance. The course went very quickly even though it was for an entire week it did not feel that way. He did a gave a very brief overview of everything that we had covered over the week and made sure we had all the links and email contacts if we needed anymore assistance or further 121 tuition especially for those who were having upcoming interviews.”

“Overall the content of the traning was very thorough and met my expectations.
However, I felt thrown in at the deep end initially becaue I did not have the correct software required to engage full with the course. Ideally trainees should have a lapto or PC, with microsoft word and good internet connection, to get the best out of the training.”

“Lot of good tips for general job applications with emphasis on the civil service. Great tutor as well. More tailored to wide range of learners though - perhaps more choice could be applied with certain tasks - e.g. how to fill in a job application.”

“I think this course has many good intentions and purposes. Seems to have the right mentors for the job, as Roz was amazingly patient and helpful. However, I do feel the course could be better organised in terms of skill level. The form covered 20 numerical and English questions but did not go over computer proficiency questions. I don’t feel I got the most out of the course because the different skill set in computer literacy caused a lot of setbacks for the course. Something crucial as the course runs online. 20 numerical questions were asked yet the course didn’t cover anything numerical. The same group of people struggled with following the course and had similar questions. I think they would’ve benefitted from being in a group that covered the most fundamental aspects. However, the course was well organised and I understand how beneficial it can be. I felt very fortunate to be in a class full of lovely, friendly people all doing their best.”
