“The trainer took time to make sure eveyone understood all concepts of the course and let those that already knew a lot about them take it at their own pace as well. They made sure everyone was up to date without micromanaging students. If anyone was severely behind they took time to help them one-to-one in their own time which kept things going well. Strive were very informative about coruse starting times, etc, and made sure that everyone had the best chance of succeeding.”
Thank you Matthew! π It sounds like you enjoyed the course. We wish you all the best as you approach the next stages on your employment journey - be sure to keep us updated! ππ
“Enjoyed the course mostly but felt it was more suited to people searching for their first/second jobs, (creating a CV, basic interview skills..) I had been given the impression it would be more targeted and focus on Civil Service applications”
Thank you for your review and for your honest feedback! π This course does cover the employability basics quite comprehensively, but we hope you were able to gain something from the Civil Service insight. If you need any further help, feel free to reach out to the team!

“My tutor, Steve, was extremely supportive, and I appreciated the feedback he gave regarding my CV, cover letter, and my answer to an interview question.
However, I felt that there should have been more time allocated to the tasks.”
“Strive training offers a wide range of skills needed for work. It's all in one course/ a journey to prepare candidates for a career they have in mind.
It's teaches how to search, apply and safety at work place which is risk assessment that many don't know what it is especially those who never been in employment.
The course prapare candidates for interview how to prapare and answer questions and practice mock interview.
Overall, I gained new skills on how to tailor CV and Cover letter in the imployability plus portal and full explanation on how to use and fill the Civil Service jobsite, who they are, their culture, values and what they stand for and the requirements for candidates to work in government/Civil Service.”
