“The Basic IT course was very good. I was quite apprehensive before it started, thinking that the hours would be too long for my level of concentration, that the other students would be much younger than me so that I wouldn't fit in, and that, even on a basic IT course, I'd soon feel out of my depth. However, the course was pitched at the right level in that I was able to keep pace with what was being taught, and, to some extent, for each of us to go at our own pace. There were some things of which I had a moderate degree of understanding at the beginning, but it was helpful to discover and review what I already knew. It boosted my confidence to be able to assist some of the others on the course whose knowledge was even more basic than my own! The tutor, Linda Guerrero, was excellent; patient, friendly, able to communicate and explain technical terms and procedures in a straightforward, easy to understand way, and with a sense of humour. She made it easy to speak up when one didn't grasp something or needed something explaining again, without one being made to feel stupid! Linda helped enable the group to be a pleasant, cooperative and mutually supportive one. As a result, I not only learnt a great deal, but actually enjoyed my week on the course.”

“The trainer was lovely and so helpful.She had a tuff class and was always willing to help and listen.She made the class fun and easy to follow.
My only moan would be that the class should be a bit longer than 1 week because there is a lot to get through.I would of liked to been shown how to write a c.v from scratch!
But all in all very happy with the class.Staff were so helpful.The building could do with some repairs to the toilets.”
