“I went to the training feeling anxious not knowing what to expect, but the Lecture asigned to Teach the Course was very experienced and had great techniques of teaching a diverse multicultural Class group 👏🏾 😀 👍. Never a dull sessions.
Most of all there was enough refreshments provided by Strive thanks very much for being thoughtful.
Good Reading and Study environment.
Neat and clean areas.
Staff was very helpful and with a welcoming smile ,easily approachable ready to help all the time.
Easy transport link (Train, Tramp and Buses).”
“Honestly, I really enjoyed coming to Strive, because lot and I really appreciate Jant Baker our Tutor, despite my slow learning, she really tried to help me.”
“Jonathan was excellent throughout the course I think he did a fantastic job because it doesn't matter how many times you call him for help he was always there to help I did achieve everything that made me do the course I think it beats my expectation because it was much more than I expected.”
“The course and presentation were good, and the staff are very nice. The office itself is a bit depressing though, and the wires littering the floor are a health hazard, as I realized while we were doing the health and safety part of the course :)”
“Tutor/assessor – Abi was fantastic, there were a large amount of people on the course (I believe 22) and her patience and tutelage was very much appreciated. She is a real asset and a pleasure to learn from. I feel lucky to have had her as our tutor.
Strive Office/Reception – The office/reception team in Croydon were fantastic. It seems a very intense job helping so many people with computers, rooms, explaining programmes, communication before the course, but they always had a smile when offering help. They really made you feel welcomed to the office/course.
Course – The course is brilliant and the part of the course I found most useful was learning about ATS tracking which I fear has been my downfall on previous job applications. Where I feel the course struggled immensely was with some candidates not having the skills to use the software or basic IT knowledge. This created severe backlogs for a lot of the other candidates. What I would recommend is a pre-requisite course in basic IT (how to copy/paste, how to upload documents, how to search on Google) as the course itself is great but could be completed in a much shorter time frame is people understood how to tackle the tasks needed. This also added pressure on the tutor to be able to mark work.”
“I learnt something new on psychometric and increase my chances of getting my desired job. This is a new skill that I achieved in the course of this training. Well done Carlene Moore for making this aspect clear. Kudos to Strive training.”
