My initial booking experience was good (if not excellent). I noticed in the week before my trip there was a lot of price fluctuations- first the price dropped significantly the bit started to slowing rise again. This is probably because the algorithm gets the best deal for the customers based on late availability. I chose the option of a large car and I was presented with a very good deal, but the car type was not specified it just had “or similar”. When I arrived at the airport the car hire company presented me with the smallest car possible- a 3 door Fiat 500, even though my booking was confirmed to me as a four-door five-person vehicle. The car hire company said they could do nothing as they were acting correctly on the information provided by the broker (stress free carbide.com). The car hire company told me to contact the broker directly. It was very stressful start to our holiday. There was no way to contact stressfreecarhire com on a Sunday afternoon on Europe’s May Day / Labour Day weekend especially as no phone number is given in the booking confirmation. I will seriously consider whether I will use this company again or not.

We were successfull in securing two from three vehicles that we required for our trip to the uk, however we were denied access to vehicles that were advertised on the website and left in the lerch , had to source our vehicle from another source. We requested to physically speak to a hire advisor but told they were only web based so we couldn’t explain what our requirement was. The experience was far from stressless.

Hello Raymond, Thank you for choosing us for your car rental needs and I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment in relation to not being able to book all of the cars you required through us. Unfortunately, when you were trying to book one of the rental cars, we did experience a system issue with one of our car rental providers that meant we were unable to confirm the booking with them. We did raise this immediately to their support team to rectify but you have since booked through someone else. I can see that you spoke to our Customer Support Team over online chat, on a number of occasions, who did provide alternative quotes, through some of our other car rental providers. Finally, I am sorry that you would have preferred to have spoken to someone over the phone but to ensure we can provide our customers with the best prices as possible, we only operate over online chat and email.

Hi there, I am givign a poor as I never recieved a confirmation email to let me know if the booking has gone through. So at this stage I still don't know if the booking has been made - which actually does make things a little stresfull.

Hello Sophie, I am sorry to hear that you haven't received your booking confirmation email. I can confirm that the booking has been successfully made with the car rental company and that the email was sent to you on the 15th February to your requested email address at the time of booking. Sometimes the email may end up going to your junk or spam email folder depending on your email settings and I am afraid that this out of our control unfortunately. If you would have contacted us to advise you had not received the booking confirmation email then we would have verified we had the correct email address and resent it straight away. You can also resend the confirmation email yourself, through the ‘Manage Booking’ section of our website. I have resent the confirmation email for you now, so please contact help@stressfreecarrental.com if you have not received this and please also ensure to check your junk email folder. I have emailed and shared my experience. You website doesn't allow booking via mobile. I tried 3 different cell phone (Iphone & Android) it dint work. Had to complete the booking via laptop then, which was time consuming and ot in the go. You would be loosing money as you have really good deals. Fix it :-)

Our website is extensively tested on all popular mobile devices and mobile operating systems so it could be the case that you're running an old version of a browser or have some other in browser software running that is affecting the performance of the website on your device.
