“Bought a copy of windows 7 in the hope it would revive an old laptop. Easy install although I couldn't upgrade I did backup all my important files. So laptop works better than when using xp. Serial number for win 7 worked fine and still no problems. Only problem is that I wish they had a wider selection of software's. I would recommend this company to other buyers. Will shop here again in future should the need arise.”

“email including product activation key arrived within 24hrs as stated, DVD ISO image created without any problems, trouble free new install carried out. I had Windows 8.1 OS up and running in less than an hour. The activation key has been verified as genuine by Microsoft. All in all an excellent service was provided. “The first code that was sent did not work and I was told that they had been sent a bad batch! The operator had me download Team Viewer and he then accessed my PC and entered a new code (Windows 7 Ultimate) but I still had to e-mail them before they sent me the code for future use. bob”

“I needed Windows 7 and got exactly that - email with the download link same day as order and the next day a prompt email with my licence code. Installed and up and running fine. No need for additional emails or phone calls etc. Thanks to Software Geeks.”

“Softwaregreats more like, because they are great, offering plenty of support and assistance. I bought an OEM Win7 Pro x64 O/S, licence key and COA off them for £20 so that I could get Win10. After burning their ISO image to disc and flash drive, I installed it no problems but had to activate it over the phone. I couldn't get onto the Microsoft win10 website offering the free upgrade and media creation tool download, until I had fully updated my copy of Win7 pro. After doing so I was able to download the MCTool, and get the free Win 10 upgrade. Warning! You must select 'Upgrade this PC' in the MCT options not download ISO to flash drive nor DVD. Those options are ONLY installable if you pay for a Win10 licence key. You'll waste time downloading the ISO's to find you can't install them without the Win10 licence key!”

“I recently purchased Windows 8.1 Pro (ISO download) with license key (by e-mail) at a very reasonable price from SoftwareGeeks. The e-mail with download link and key arrived within 3 hours. The download links were to the x86 and x64 English U.S. versions (I would have preferred UK, but read on). I downloaded the x64 ISO and burned it to disk. The key provided did not work with the download from the link provided in my mail. The key was not asked during install but after install I tried entering the key to activate offline. I think the version in their link was for the 'volume license' release but I may be wrong. However, when I downloaded the regular copy from Microsoft, I could choose the English UK edition, again x64, and this time the supplied license key worked fine (it was accepted during installation; I have not tried to activate with the key because I will reinstall to an NVMe SSD when it finally arrives). Actually, the only thing I needed was the key which worked fine. Software Geeks simply need to provide links direct to the appropriate Microsoft download page, rather than to their own copies which do not work with the key they supplied to me. Anyway... I've decided to skip Windows8 and go straight for Windows10. I will do a clean install of Windows10 rather than an update of Windows8(.1) or Windows7. Therefore I will not actually use the key I purchased to activate Windows8.1. I will not ask for a refund as this was my choice, and anyway, why would they refund me? If they were to refund people in this way then anyone could claim that they 'never activated windows with the supplied key'”
