After good service previously from SimplySeed, I was on this occasion disappointed on two counts: firstly the packet content was incomplete by one third, i.e. 10 seeds, not 15 and secondly, I still await reply from SimplySeed, having emailed a complaint on May 25th.

Delivery was very quick, but unfortunately only half the order was delivered. Minimal response after several emails requesting an update on when the remaining items will be delivered.

I have used SimplySeed successfully for several years. This year, however, two varieties of vegetable seeds failed to germinate. I had no problems with other seeds from the same order, I am very disappointed that SimplySeed has not even had the 'Simple' courtesy responded to my enquiries.

Ordered two types of seed potatoes and one was delivered wrong couldn’t get a reply to my email to exchange them

You can get good seeds from many places both online and in shops/garden centres. Delivery is the important factor for me and this is where SimplySeed is a let down. The courier they used did not leave the package or a card of what to do next. I had to “Google it” to find phone number of the delivery company. They could redeliver but not tell me when during the delivery day. I could not take a day off so had to drive 20 miles to pick up the items. I contacted SimplySeeds to explain this and they wasn’t interested. I don’t think I’ll use them again.

Onion sets were not delivered. Very slow response to e-mails sent. Telephone calls not possible as message box always full.

Was very disappointed there was only 10 Arran Pilot potatoes in just under 1 kg. these will not do a row across my allotment. D Maxted

I ordered my various seeds & paid. I received an email that my order was processed & on its way. This was on 13th October. Still not received them despite contacting you twice. Phone won't accept any more messages.

Garlic: Poor value compared to local suppliers In one case 1 bulb with 7 cloves! I wont be buying again

I ordered garlic cloves and onion sets but as you were not delivering until the end of September and I was going on holiday for a week on the 30th I was concerned that I might miss the delivery so I tried to contact you. I rang in the afternoon only to be told the phone would not accept any more messages. Tried next morning same result. My next attempt at contact with yourself was by text message which I sent explaining the situation and asking you to delay my delivery until I came back from holiday. No response from you. Luckily my parcel arrived two days before I left for my holiday otherwise they would have been left outside until I returned. This makes me reluctant to order from you in the future as contact with you seems impossible.

My delivery arrived when I was away. I read delivery was next day first class...,. Unfortunately I somehow missed the section which said dispatched on Thursday

The specified size of the potatoes given was 55mm x 35mm, but about a quarter were smaller and quite a few were squidgy.

The product is fine but the delivery cost is excessive at least double. There are plenty of delivery company contracts for 1/2 the amount that I paid.

I ordered nomastodes for vine weevils. They arrived and I put them in the fridge until about a week or so later when I decided to use them. When I removed the outer packaging, I noticed they weren't like the other packet I'd used a few weeks earlier. They were clumped together as if a small amount of water had somehow got in the box and made them damp. I prepared and watered them in anyway, but, unlike the slug nomastode, I can't see they've, helped much.

Nematodes arrived just days before expiry date. I contacted company to ask for advice as I wasn't ready to use them (previously the expiry date has been weeks away).I received an automatic email saying they would get back to me as soon as someone was available. They didn't bother.

Delivery very expensive. Product did however come quickly. I ordered seed potatoes which came with absolutely no instructions of any sort on how deep to plant/soil type/watering instructions. I did email to request details but never got a reply. Overall disappointed and would not order from them again.
