“Nematodes arrived just days before expiry date. I contacted company to ask for advice as I wasn't ready to use them (previously the expiry date has been weeks away).I received an automatic email saying they would get back to me as soon as someone was available. They didn't bother.”

“Delivery very expensive. Product did however come quickly. I ordered seed potatoes which came with absolutely no instructions of any sort on how deep to plant/soil type/watering instructions. I did email to request details but never got a reply. Overall disappointed and would not order from them again.”

“Hi I don't seem to be able to find a phone number to contact you . I emailed at the beginning of the week but not heard back . I have germinated the sprout kale seeds I brought from you and have only got 5 seedlings out of 20 is that normal ?”

“Seeds delivered promptly. In the sun gold pack, 10 seeds were promised but only 1 was inside. I have been emailing and calling the company but I have had no response for at least 1 week.”

“Previous seed orders have been fulfilled promptly and with the exception of one had a good yield in germination. The all seasons seed potato selection however was very poor with the Pink Fir Apple being very small and only two showing signs of chitting with three just shrivelling up, likewise the Desiree variety had two potatoes which have failed to chit and on has just rotten. Two contacts through the website have been totally ignored by Simply Seeds and the review via their website pointing out these issues has not been published. Presumably this is how they manage their high ratings on their website. With the potato shipment it would have been beneficial if they had considered the temperature on the potato shipment as they arrived on one of the coldest days of the year, but the lack of response from customer service has to be the biggest issue here. I shall be avoiding in the future.”

“I ordered my seeds and waited for them to be delivered. It is now 2 weeks and I have not got my seeds I sent an e-mail to there customer services 2 days ago and no answer back. I do not know if I will get my seeds so I will have to pay for them again from a different retailer. I WILL NOT USE THESE GUYS AGAIN!!!!!”

“My order took at least 10 days to be dispatched (ordered 19th Jan, sent 29th Jan) which I found to be quite long. Unreachable by phone and just a quick apology once contacted by email about the delay. I have never had a problem with SimplySeed before and found them to be a fast and reliable service. Maybe a one off, but it made me think of them differently enough to try other suppliers now.”
