“I ordered seeds and a short while later when confirmation came through I realised I had missed one variety off. I emailed asking if it could be added but got no reply. Bit sad that they couldn't have contacted me. Seed and quality are, however, great”

“I ordered seed potatoes. They arrived in good condition and promptly. The catalogue described a pack as being sufficient for a 12' row. I was slightly surprised at this but it became clear that the potatoes supplied were enormous! Many were the size of baking potatoes and can't have been anywhere near a riddle. I will have to dig enormous holes at planting time. I would have preferred smaller seed; about the size of a hen's egg.”

“Good response, and the seeds were all packed and protected. Unfortunately I did have a small problem with broad beans I sowed, no fault of yours, the shooting seeds proved irresistible to the mice that broke into the greenhouse, so I had to re-sow them once they had left. However, the local raptors were well fed.”

“Seeds are great, my only concern is how much plastic was used to pack out the box. With plastic pollution the way it is, we should all be striving to address this and companies like yours can go a long way to help this by making your packaging more environmentally friendly. This is such a concern to me that I would shop at another companie even if it meant prices were more expensive. Other than that great service.”

“Ordered 4 packets of seed. Took 4 days to arrive. For £2 delivery charge I was expecting 1st class mail, as had happened with another seed company a few days earlier, from whom I also ordered 4 packets and received order 21 hours after placing order online. That said, seed was of quality expected at a price others do not match, so will place orders again.”

“The potatoes, their packaging and delivery were everything SimplySeed promised they would be. But I would have appreciated - as a total beginner - a reminder of which potatoes were earlies and which were mains. The "customer care", it seems, stopped at the point of dispatch. I've learned from that experience, but I think SimplySeed could have gone a little further.”

“Came across website during lockdown when unable to go to garden centre to get seeds. Very good choice and could get products other sites had run out of. Good prices too. Only slight niggle (which was probably my fault for not reading delivery terms correctly!) was that I ordered delayed delivery for seed potatoes assuming other items like tomatoes would be sent straight away. Selecting this choice meant the whole order was delayed, so I was late getting some of seeds planted. Other than that everything great,quality appears good and some of veg seeds already through.”
