Simple Formations is one the longest established company formation agents in the UK having been in business since 1998.

Our aim is to simplify the process of registering a limited company or LLP by using our own bespoke software and website to collect the required data in the simplest way possible. “It’s the most complicated company for registration. Every company makes registration and after that collects documents. No one company collects documents certified by legal authorities for European citizens. That means costs grow much more (besides registrations itself everywhere is free). So I’m comparison with others you have highest prize and the most problematic registration”

Thank you for your review. I have reviewed your application and I can see that the initial due diligence checks were unsuccessful. We then subsequently contacted you to advise what further documentation would be required to enable us to complete these checks. All formation agents are legally required to carry out anti-money laundering (AML) checks for all applications before they are submitted to Companies House. This is a government requirement. We provide guidance on what would be required at the beginning of any new application. If you would like to proceed with the formation please provide the requested documents so we can assist. “I chose Simple Formations because they offer a same day service. After reading the info I believed that as I was applying later in the day, that my formation would occur the following day. I completed the forms and paid the fee. The following day I was told by email to send hard copies which will take weeks. I am not interested and when I have an opportunity I will instruct my bank to contest the payment.”

You ordered a certificate of good standing on the slow service. This typically takes around 2 weeks to be issued by Companies House. On the date your ordered we contacted you by email to confirm the details required on the document. At the time of ordering you selected the cheapest and slowest delivery option of Airmail. Due to Covid, Airmail deliveries are taking around 2 weeks across Europe. Having checked online the shipment is in Poland and will be delivered this week. We apologise for the delay, but we cannot increase the speed of Companies House or standard Airmail. Thank you for using our service.

Thank you for your feedback. I have looked into your order and can see you asked us to cancel and refund the order instead of us refusing to register the LLP. We need to comply with anti money laundering regulations before we can register the LLP and to do this we asked for documents from you. You supplied some of the documents but then asked us to cancel the order. We would still be happy to register this LLP for you on receipt of the requested AML documents and payment as we have refunded all charges as requested. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to supply the outstanding documents.

I have reviewed your order. Our records indicate that you did not provide the information to enable us to conduct Anti Money Laundering checks. This is a government requirement. If customers do not provide the documentation we cannot register the company. We are sorry that we could not assist you. It does not appear that you have been able to register the company at Companies House yet as all service providers should be conducting these checks before registering a company. Thank you for your review. I would just like to clarify the reason for your application taking longer than usual as unfortunately you encountered some issues with your chosen name. Your application to register a company was placed online at 4:30pm on Wednesday so was queued at Companies House for approval on the Thursday. On Friday morning Companies House rejected your chosen name as too similar to an existing name. We asked you to supply a revised name which you gave to us on Monday morning. We resubmitted your revised application to Companies House as soon as we received your reply and they accepted it on Tuesday. Unfortunately we have no control over Companies House processing times. Your company is now formed and ready for you to start trading. If we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
