“We asked for a two day removal, pick up on Thursday and delivery on Friday to avoid the stress of a one day move. All went well on the Thursday, 3 staff and they were great, really careful, polite and helpful but on Friday you sent only 2 men to unload a very full van. My 2 daughters and my husband and I had to help to unload. It was raining and although the staff were great and tried to get an extra person (1 man came for a couple of hours) we would have been there until dark if we had not pitched in. Bear in mind that all the garden and garage stuff comes off first and my girls wanted to make sure our beds were made and we were at least a bit straight for the night. To expect 2 men to unload a vehicle that size was unrealistic and not what we expected. The men you sent were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful.”

“Three men arrived to move us, they were really nice, friendly and helpful guys. They moved us incredibly quickly, packed up the entire house, moved us and unloaded in one day... which was great. Or so we thought. It was only when we started unpacking did we find broken, chipped and cracked glasses, wooden shelving placed on top of bedside lamps, crushing the shades (!), a delicate paper lamp shade for a large floor lamp was folded in half and stuffed into the bottom of a box with books and files thrown on top, two of our own plastic loft storage boxes were completely shattered but worst of all is the damage to our sofa - all of which will cost hundreds of pounds to repair and replace so to say we're annoyed is an understatement!”

“Very professional removal service. Ours was a large removal with two vans and the men couldn't have been more cheerful and helpful considering they had such an extremely long working day and didn't leave until after 8pm in the evening. Would definitely recommend.”

“We were very impressed with the work and the company from the moment of quotation to the move itself. Everything was carried out to an excellent professional standard. “Second time we have used Simon Long. Boxes and paper given well in advance. Guys turned up early on day early and packed up very quickly. Arrived early next morning. Unpacked really quickly too. A speedy and great service. Staff very helpful and reliable.”

“The men arrived on time and work like troopers all day. I could not fault them in any way. They were very understanding and iron out little snags . making our move has stress free as possible. I would recommend the team of men and your company and would use you again. But will not be moving for a long time I hope”

“All the staff from the original visit to provide an estimate the office staff and removal men were helpful, friendly and very polite. The actual moving went very smoothly and I can't praise enough the two men Scott and Joe who main the process as stress free as possible I would definitely recommend Simon Long to family and friend.”

“Excellent service! The guys turned up early on the day and worked extremely hard. We were moved out by midday and in our new house by the late afternoon! Brilliant! We couldn't fault them at all and would highly recommend using Simon Long Removals!”

“We had 2 house moves over 3 months. On both occasions all staff were careful, well trained in their craft and hardworking. We had about 70% of our possessions in storage over this period and they came out of store in good condition. Highly Recommended”

“Apart from an absence of wardrobe boxes and a request to cover the carpets, we found the crew very obliging and helpful. The loading progressed very smoothly and the house was emptied expediently and without problems. Apart from the usual delay waiting for monies to go through the offload was completed in an equally smooth and efficient manner. My wife and were very satisfied with the service provided by Simon Long and have since recommended the company to our daughter and one of our friends who are in fact moving into the house next door!”

“Excellent service. The initial survey was quick and efficient, with attention to small details. The team turned up on time and packed and loaded with care and minimum of fuss. The contents of the van were delivered and unloaded promptly the following day. I'm very grateful to them all.”

“I can't believe how quick, efficient and polite these chaps were. Nothing was too much trouble and I was totally delighted with the whole moving experience.
