About Sign-Holders by Green Magic:

In 2020 Green Magic celebrates its 25th Birthday. Their Sign-Holders.co.uk online shop was established in 2007. Many years of experience are therefore at customers' disposal.

Over the past 25 years the business has grown to encompass display solutions for many sectors including retail, education, healthcare and hospitality.
Customers include hundreds of colleges and universities, major hotels and leisure groups as well as retailers ranging from High Street stores to garden centres (which is where it all began).

The business operates from 3 modern warehouse units on a business park in rural Hampshire supplying businesses of all sizes as well as private individuals.

Green Magic Co is family owned and run, with 3 generations actively involved in the day-to-day management of the business.

As an online business with secure bricks and mortar foundations the company remains committed to its customers, with new product launches and more innovative products in the pipeline.

“The picture of product led me to believe I was buying the whole thing, the business card holders have to be attached to something before I can use them, should have clear add , sorry won’t be using again and will make adaptation myself.”

Dear Rungarun I'm sorry you are not satisfied. I see you bought clip-on business card holders (BCH.CLIP) described as for attaching to the front of certain types of literature dispenser. I have reviewed the description and the pictures and I believe it is clear that this item is for clipping on to something - would you care to check and make any suggestions? We can exchange these for tabletop or wall fixing business card holders if that's what you require? If you require leaflet holders these will cost extra depending on the size you need. “Absolute rubbish!! Rang them up to make sure they had stock, which they had. Then asked for assurance of next day delivery, this was given. Rang back to find out what the tracking number was only to be told that they had not been dispatched, a glitch in the paper work apparently. Thank You Jess and team!!!”

Hi Steve I’m sorry we let you down with a promised next day delivery. I have had a chance to look into this as it is extremely unusual that we fail in this way. Unfortunately half our despatch staff were off sick yesterday (a bug’s been working its way round the company) including our despatch coordinator who normally ensures urgent despatches run sweetly. Jess did send down your order to the Warehouse on Despatch Today paperwork but the two guys left to hold the fort were very stretched and did not spot it in time. So yes we did fail and I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this no doubt caused you. I understand you have cancelled the order – which is fine – but if you wish to reinstate it we will of course take extra care to ensure it is despatched today. Once again, my apologies. “Your website is a nightmare and in desparate need of updating. I've had to abandon my basket twice at the point of payment, then it forgets what is in my basket. Looks like I'll have to go elsewhere”

“Fisso ghost fixings failed, two expensive pictures fell off the wall !! ALL instructions followed, fixings and picture cleaned 100% with wipes provided, curing time applied 100%, weight of pictures less than 2kg. I have had no response to my initial request for replacement adhesive pads, subsequently a second picture has fallen off the wall. I would consider the 3M adhesive pads are substandard”

We're very sorry to hear about your problems with these Ghost fittings. 2kg is nearly 4 times the recommended load for the adhesive pad fixing option, so that may be the cause of failure. We will speak to you directly about this to find a solution or arrange a refund.

“We ordered a product described as the colour 'black' however when it turned up on arrival it is clearly dark brown. This is very disappointing as we needed them for an event and didn't have time to source any other black easels instead.”

We are very sorry for your disappointment. We have checked the current batch of 'black stained' easels and agree they can display a dark brown hue when compared with a solid black colour. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have now adjusted our product description online.

“Placed order, received in good timebut found out I was missing parts, spoke to lady and she promptly replaced missing item. As I was assembling products, I found more missing parts! Disappointed to say the least. Spoke to a gentleman called Nigel (manager), who was less than helpful in providing a goodwill gesture for all the hassle from a simple order. Be aware of this company and double check everything recieved in good order.”

“We saw that you have a 1-2 day delivery. After a week we called to be told that the system was faulty and our order had not been done. We were told it would be sent that day but we received it 4 days later. We emailed asking for a refund on our P&p which was quite steep but have heard nothing. Not good service at all.”

I am sorry this did indeed go wrong and we are refunding your delivery charge. Unfortunately we failed to spot a temporary system failure for a few hours over the Easter weekend and were not aware your order had slipped through the net. I do apologise for the delay which resulted.

“The product is excellent, however P&P is extortionate. It wasn't until I got to the checkout that I found that it was £8.50 for a £30 order. We use Hermes and for us to post these goods would have cost £2.70, the packaging was never anywhere near £5.80 worth. This is without doubt one way of pushing up the product price without appearing to do so. I will never use this company again!”

Your order was despatched on the 15th (the day you placed it) on a service which normally takes 2 days. So delivery today would be 'normal'. We've tracked the order and it was handed to the delivery company in Aberdeen at 6am this morning so hopefully you'll receive the package today. I'm sorry you're disappointed but it's currently less than 48 hours since you ordered the item.

“When we received the boxes, we were very dismayed to find that the racks were in bits and had to be assembled by us and we thought we were buying the racks as a whole item and not iddly piddly bits of plastic, very diappointed.”

We're sorry you were disappointed. The product purchased is called a Kit and the description says "The design makes assembly easy once the top mounting rail has been screwed to the wall". There is also an assembly video on the web page which you might find useful. Unfortunately any wall mounting leaflet rack will require fixing (i.e. involving drilling into the wall) which is usually the most technical bit - the clip together assembly is normally considered relatively straightforward. Please call us if you need any more help.

“Most of mine have broken within the first week of having them, it states on the description that they fit all size dishes, plates, bowls etc but they just snap as soon as you put them on a normal oven proof dish! Don't buy them it was a waste of over £60 for my business”

Following my call to you we will send you a sample of a larger capacity clip for you to try and we have updated our website to clarify that the tray clip you purchased is only suitable for thinner bowls and trays (which is what you have found).
