I was greatly disappointed, having re-ordered a shoe that I had bought before. The colour was different, the shoe was longer, and had a heel that could not be repaired. Modern rubbish!

I have worn these shoes for 1 day and have suffered with sore heels which I put down to them being new! When I inspected the heel area I realised that the reason for the soreness was caused by no padding in the heal area of the shoe! Are these shoes seconds as you you really state if you are selling defected goods?

I bought trainers male size 7. Unfortunately I couldn't get them on as they were far too small. I've always had size 7 with no problems in the past Can I get an exchange size 8 instead?

Not a great experience unfortunately, ordered a pair of boots and the wrong size were sent to me , I then had to pay in excess of £6.00 to return the incorrect boots at my own cost , various emails backwards and forwards couldn’t get this sorted , will think twice about ordering through shoestation direct again , disappointed 😩

Ordered a pair of boots for my partners birthday, unfortunately due to the sizing the boots were too big. No option to exchange and had to return via Evri at my own cost!

Boots are comfy they rub if my socks aren't pulled up which gets a little painful and the left boot is a little squeaky when walking given the option I probably wouldn't buy them again

The boots came with one insole shorter than the actual boot which left it very uncomfortable to wear, have had to return.

Shoestation direct. OK. Delivery date was not met. I had to get them delivered to site, whereupon I had to wear them for 5 days, without time to find out if they were comfortable and, unfortunately they weren't, but I was without choice at that point and wore them till I felt disabled and struggled to get through my work. So. Finalising my review... deliver on time in future. When I return home, I shall be asking for replacement work shoes as one is really disabilitating. The other is nice to wear.

The shoes arrived promptly and were great, just a size too big.... Why can't I exchange them? And why must I pay for their return? If this were an exchange I would simply change from size 10 to size 9...as it is I will not buy the size 9 pair I'll just send them back and then comment on the speed of the refund then.

Hi, We can provide a far better and quicker service to the customer by not providing exchanges. We can process returns/refunds much quicker amongst this, not waiting for the item back and then to be shipped back out. All resulting in wasting time. I have had to return a pair of boots that were a present and my husband did not like, they were also sizing much larger than his size. I have had to pay almost 15.00 to return them in the post so I am losing out on this. In this day and age returns should be free, I am not happy that I chose you but have lost out financially because of it.

Hi, I do apologise for this, but as you paid £15 I can only assume, there were a lot of extras added, fully tracked, signed for, special delivery or similar. I paid for next day delivery, but they deliver after 2 days when im at work and had to go my self to collect the parcel :(

The coat I ordered was too big , so I sent it back straight away to be exchanged for a smaller coat , but still havnt received it or had any acknowledgement that they have received the original order

The catapillar boots I received were totally different to the ones that were pictured on the website so be warned if you want the ones described as 'Honey' colour, they are not as they appear. The main colour is the same, but the dark brown top part is also 'Honey' and the sole is a pale grey.

Sadly,the shoes purchased were far too narrow for my wife's foot-shows the perils of buying any type of foot wear on line as there is no mention in the description of the shoe about it being only suitable for narrower feet. To add to the frustration,although sent by Royal Mail 48 and receiving an e mail from Shoe Station to say that the article had been posted on April 10th,when I tried to track it,Royal Mail informed me that the article wasn't posted untilApril 16th and it was delivered on the afternoon of April 18th,so SOMEBODY was telling porkies. Finally,not only have I got to repay return postage ,meaning that I am out of pocket on postage but,as the parcel has to be ripped open,rather than unsealed and re sealed,I also have to provide fresh packaging and go through the hassle of fastening up,re addressing ,going to Post Office etc. At least,with lock down,I've got little else with which to occupy myself but,as I said at the start,no more on line purchasing of footwear,thank you very much

I got stung at the Post Office for a £13 return postage fee on a pair of £79 work boots. This has been the second time I have purchased footwear online, recently via a competitor who charge just £1 for shoe returns (those were boots too). I didn't read the small print at ShoeStationDirect as I wrongly assumed that they would have a similar policy in place as to another online footwear company. When my boots arrived and I found them to be too large (SSD didn't have smaller in stock) they had to be returned for a refund and that's when I learned their returns policy. So I can't recommend them because of this, because let's face it, footwear very often come up either too big/small etc, so I think they need to sort that side of things out. Otherwise the service would have been perfectly fine.
