“However, I was told i was going to get a call/confirmation through a letter of some kind that my car has been scraped. This did not come; heard nothing from the scrap dealers about this. It would be nice if you followup from the words that was given Never mind, take care.....have a wonderful Christmas when it comes.”

“I did a number of Internet searches to try and find a scrap dealership that would give me the best price for my old car. Scrapcarcomparison found me a local dealer offering a reasonable price. The dealer contacted me to arrange collection and even called when delayed in getting to me. Sound service that I've never used before but found them helpful and labour saving.”

“Process was very easy and gave the best price of any website I could find. Contractor turned up and made payment promptly, but didn't seem to have full control of their collection vehicle and nearly damaged more then just the collected car!”

“I tried several local scrap dealers to try and dispose of my dead vehicle; several were just not interested, only 2 gave a price which was less than attractive. The guy dealing with my request at ScrapCarComparison asked a lot of questions about the car and managed to generate a better price (although not as much as I would have liked...). The process was absolutely painless; the transporter arrived bang on time, checked the documentation, phoned SCC to report in, collected the car and the money was in my account pretty much the same day - totally hassle-free.”

“Would of liked to be offered a bit more for the car but apart from that the contact between initial first call and pick up was great. Arrived on time and the guy was cheerful, I had to help him quickly push the car but he directed it well towards his tow-truck.”

“All arranged very quickly. They did what they said they would. I was nervous about them taking the vehicle before paying (cash transaction no longer allowed) but they were good to their word and even phoned after to check they had the details correctly.”

“Collection vehicle arrived on schedule, problem was, that despite informing your office in advance that access through our village is extremely limited, you sent a full-sized transporter which, at the time of the 'school run' created a number of embarrassing issues for the driver!!”
