Schoffel have really gone down hill in the last few years. Their customer service used to be brilliant, exchanging a faulty garment with no issues. I am on my third gilet in 10 years and the one I purchased last autumn is definitely not as good quality as the first two. Fleece is thinner material and has bobbled up terribly despite me taking greater care of this one. Very disappointed and dissatisfied; especially given the price.

This is the third Schoffel zip to not last the garment for me. Poor quality garments even with fake leather trim which looks tatty and worn after very few wears. Schoffel is very over priced and I certainly will not be spending anything more on their clothing. I can buy two fleeces of a heavier weight for the same price as one of theirs cost me. One new fleece of a heavier weight for £10 more than a replacement zip repair will cost me.

Like other reviewers I found Schoffel return process abysmal. Deposited the return on 10th February on the 22nd February it is still sitting on a pallet waiting to go back to the retailer. Customer service accept no responsibility for the poor service and seem to think in excess of 10 days is normal and acceptable. Promised a call back from a manager which never materialised. I pointed out I could walk from London to the retailer quicker. Awful service for a premium priced company, would not recommend at all!

I purchased a Schoffel Ptarmigan Extreme II Gore-tex jacket from William Powell, Banbury on 15th November 2022, cost £499. Unfortunately, the jacket has various faults including a popper on the pocket falling off and the main zip becoming unstitched from the body of the jacket. William Powell is unable to exchange the jacket, on the advice of Schoffel, it should be returned and repaired, since this is more sustainable. I am now without a winter jacket, having paid a premium cost for what is, in my opinion, a poor quality product and lacking customer service.

I was gifted a jumper as a present from my son. I wore it twice for a few hours and it started bobbling. I wrote to schoffel and they said to send it back to where it had been purchased, which I did straight away. William Powell sent it back to me saying according to schoffel the jumper wasn’t faulty (although I can’t wear it now as it looks worn and old) and sent me a bobble come with the returned jumper. I find this totally unacceptable for what is meant to be top in the league of county wear. I know I won’t get a reply from schoffel but I wanted everyone to know what bad after service and communication schoffel have.

Bought a new pink shirt the buttons are falling off. The cotton hasn’t been seen on property it’s falling to bits only had it on once too

Sadly not the brand it used to be. For me to find that a product I have purchased many times is now too small to fit my unchanged frame suggests saving money is now more important than brand loyalty. Not only that but the next size up is of course out of stock. Who runs a business and stupidly runs out of the most popular item with an unknown restock time forcing people to review their loyalty and go somewhere else. Oh well, welcome to modern business where the customer has dropped below the office cleaner in terms of importance..........

I purchased a classic country shirt for the Princely sum of £69 and after the first wear during a shoot over Christmas found that the shirt had opened about an inch at the collar. Just bad luck I thought but the replacement from the lovely Karina at your returns department (it cost me a further £7 for special delivery) also when unpacked had a defective collar and a sewing run at the waist mid check not even at a place to hide. Poor quality shame on you Schoffel! As a Shoot Captain looking to replace my goretex shooting jacket I will not be looking Schoffel’s way.

Normally Schoffel products are really good, but on the first wear the bobble came off my hat. I’ve sewn it back on but definitely not the quality I would expect! Normally I would have sent it back but as I was in the highlands I needed to keep my ears warm!!

Not nice with an excellent product betrayed by an unhelpful and untrustworthy retailer in my opinion. Bradshaw Taylor/SchoffelCountry aggressively intrudes into your life by using cookies with no option to refuse - contrary to the Information Commissioner's Rules. They acknowedged my email on this but no response, nor to a letter to their Data Controller. There was also a delivery issue with the courier not leaving the package next door as instructed but delivering the following day. The coat is great and exceeds my expectations but Schoffel must improve their distribution so customers can buy from a customer-focussed retailer.

Awful sizing, normally a 14 and an 18 was still to small. Retuned and refund issued with no problem but quality wasn’t as good as other products I have purchased so very disappointed.

Bought a shooting vest the quality was rubbish. It started to disintegrate after only wearing it twice. I have a lot of schoffel clothing and this is the first thing to disappoint me.

My husband opened the package containing his heavy cable sweater at my son’s home on Christmas morning. It was far too big when he tried it on later that day. In the meantime the polythene bag that contained the sweater had been thrown out and we could not find ir anywhere. Therefore I could not return it for a refund . I am left with a useless sweater at great expense £119 .

The item is totally the wrong sized ordered a 18 it was more like a 14 .dissatisfied as it was a Christmas present and has to be returned, the quality of the garment was good but no good if you can't get it on !!!!

wanted to return an item due to incorrect size. Local post office charged £5.30 to return but on website it was free returns through post office (royal Mail)
