“tried to return an item and the post office charged me over £5 to return an item that was classed as "free returns"”

“A Schoffel Venturi ski jacket was bought as a present for me. Having seen many skiers wearing Schoffel I thought this was a great recommendation for the product and so I had high expectations. I have now used this jacket on two ski holidays. The jacket membrane is of high quality but it is thoroughly let down by the quality of the zips. The zips are not what you would expect on a jacket costing £400, they are the cheap Christmas cracker variety. Two zips have now perished and as a result I don't feel that this is a good jacket. Looking at internet competitors that are much less that 4 times the price, they know that good quality waterproof zips are a must. I feel thoroughly let down by my experience. I rarely provide feedback but this product has fallen well short of the mark.”

“Two years ago I purchased a ruby coloured full ladies fleece, that I have only worn for one half winter seasons, and only noticed the texture of the material was odd, rough and bobbly after seeing a friends very old gilet still looking perfect and velvety. I have always washed it as per instructions, so I haven't, over cooked it. So now feel the quality was poor and it has made me feel very disappointed having paid a premium price for what I thought was good quality.”

“Great clothing but sizing is ludicrous. Ordered a coat a size bigger than my usual size and still had to return due to it being too small. You should consider how this effects people mentally under sizing clothes so much.”

“Purchase of a Schoffel wool jumper via William Powell. Returned due to serious material fault and bobbling to be told Schoffel have informed them I have washed it incorrectly and their expert dept have sent me a cashmere comb! I followed the care label of garment just poor quality of a product. We are regular customers of Schoffel and this is a huge disappointment. Very poor customer care if they were even informed by William Powell as no proof provided.”

“The service and delivery were fine. But the quality of the item purchased is very dissatisfactory. We purchased Lyndon II Fleece Gilet for my wife and every time you wear it a lot of fluff bobbles appear on the outer, making it look really cheap and poor quality. Now have purchased 2 different tools to remove bobbles and have to do all the time. Just wonder now how long it will last before it becomes thin and see-through.”

“I have a new jacket thats started to split on the stitch of the pocket, Ive emailed and been told i must clean the product then pay to return it and they will review the item. Its clearly not my fault as the item has started to come apart by itself, so i would expect a replacement immediately and not to pay to return, however Im now being ignored for my request for a returns label and it doesn't look like ill be getting a new jacket soon, its been 2 weeks”

“Purchased Schoffel Ptarmigan about 18 months ago (online cannot find old details ) Used it 2 weeks ago in heavy rain which seem to absorb it like blotting paper, with resulatant heavier weight. Pool of water where i hung it to air dry. (Surely reviews should concentrate on the product rather than deliyery speed, and "nice packaging" ? (another matter )”
