A Schoffel Venturi ski jacket was bought as a present for me. Having seen many skiers wearing Schoffel I thought this was a great recommendation for the product and so I had high expectations. I have now used this jacket on two ski holidays. The jacket membrane is of high quality but it is thoroughly let down by the quality of the zips. The zips are not what you would expect on a jacket costing £400, they are the cheap Christmas cracker variety. Two zips have now perished and as a result I don't feel that this is a good jacket. Looking at internet competitors that are much less that 4 times the price, they know that good quality waterproof zips are a must. I feel thoroughly let down by my experience. I rarely provide feedback but this product has fallen well short of the mark.
