“Fore Decks is an excellent location, well equipped and beautifully presented. Some very luxurious extra's such as the hot tub made some evenings extra special after a long day on the beach. Best views in the house when it came to Salcombe's fireworks display on Thursday evening, we all thought it was quite magical.”

“A fantastic stay at Watch Hill. Lovely house, very stylishly furnished (everything looks very new) and well laid out so even though there were 8 of us staying we never felt on top of each other - the house could easily have accommodated more people without it feeling crowded. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and all of the bathrooms were very spacious with good, modern facilities and also shampoo, conditioner etc. which was a nice touch. The big utility room and shower on the ground floor were especially useful for dumping beach towels and washing off sandy feet when coming in from the beach. The deck at the front has great views of the sea and a good BBQ (which we put to very good use!) whilst the garden at the back is beautifully landscaped and gets the sun all day so was a fantastic spot for sunbathing when we didn't fancy going to the beach. Would love to return!”

“We made a last minute booking and Salcombe Finest were fantastic at helping us secure a house suitable for us & our two small children. They were easy to deal with, professional and kept to their word. Broad downs Farm house is a beautiful house, well presented, clean, spacious and ideal for families. The pool was kept at a lovely temperature which made it easy to use, even in cooler weather. Thank you for a great week's holiday!”

“Salcombe Finest were great to deal with and always helped where they could with information and circumstances. Watch Hill provided the perfect base for my family for the week of our wedding. Its open plan kitchen/dining area provided a brilliant space for breakfast and Hair dressers in the morning. All bedrooms are finished to a brilliant standard and the stairs will definitely keep you fit! It is absolutely fantastic to have a house with 3 parking spaces in Salcombe! The houses location was brilliant - 5 mins walk to the church and to the high street! I would definitely recommend both Watch Hill and Salcombe Finest.”

“First and foremost - the best position in Salcombe! We walked on the flat into the town to fetch bread and milk, then had breakfast each day outside in the protected garden. Well equipped kitchen with lots of china and cutlery, 2 fridges and a good quality dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The cottage is very comfortable with good beds. We will definitely stay again.”

“This apartment is, in the real sense of the word, unique. Its position on the estuary in Salcombe, the quality of the fitments and the cleanliness et al are all great. We are definitely going to go again, I can think of no higher praise.”

“The start to finish of our holiday booking was done in an efficient, professional and very personal way. The house details and directions were clear and precise and when our sat nav didn’t work we had no problem finding our way. The house itself was wonderful in every aspect and far exceeded our expectations of any rental property. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and we could easily have spent our entire holiday without venturing very far from its comforts.”

“We stayed at 1 The Strand and this is the second time we have stayed at this property. A wonderful location, beautiful house with a spacious deck with great views. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony attached to the master bedroom is a lovely place to start the day. A great property, we can't wait to come back. I'd also like to mention Kate who deals with the bookings. She is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble.”

“Recently stayed in 7 Victoria Quay and had a lovely few days. The cottage is cosy yet stylish with wonderful views across the estuary. Lovely to lie in bed in the morning enjoying the sunrise and even on colder afternoons, the cottage was perfect for snuggling in watching the weather and reading a good book between strolls round the corner for hot chocolate and cream teas! The cottage is very well equipped and has everything needed for the perfect holiday in Salcombe. Kate was brilliant at helping organise the holiday at the last minute and everything was exactly as described. The owners strike the balance well between a holiday cottage with personality and their much loved home by the sea. Highly recommend.”

“We stayed in 7 Victoria Quay which was a delightful cottage only metres from the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped and ideally suited to go on all manner of walks with our two dogs. We walked along Cliff Road to North Sands, caught the ferry across the estuary and did some lovely beach and road walks and even ventured around Batson Creek which is like a completely different world. The cottage is perfectly situated for all the amenities of the town, only minutes from the shops and pubs. We never used the car once, being able to source fresh seafood, fantastic meat and fresh vegetables and bread from the shops in the town. Highly recommended holiday for those who love the water!”

“We had a lovely stay at The Strand in August over the new year. It was a beautifully appointed house with stunning views of the harbour where we were able to see the fireworks at midnight from our balcony. It's conveniently located for the town but still felt very private. The team at Salcombe Finest couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasurable one and were on hand to provide guidance as to the best that the town had to offer. They were a real breath of fresh air compared to the usual holiday home booking experience.”
