We stayed in 7 Victoria Quay which was a delightful cottage only metres from the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped and ideally suited to go on all manner of walks with our two dogs. We walked along Cliff Road to North Sands, caught the ferry across the estuary and did some lovely beach and road walks and even ventured around Batson Creek which is like a completely different world. The cottage is perfectly situated for all the amenities of the town, only minutes from the shops and pubs. We never used the car once, being able to source fresh seafood, fantastic meat and fresh vegetables and bread from the shops in the town. Highly recommended holiday for those who love the water!
