“Wheels perfect but.. Spindles are too big So don’t fit. Wrote in (emailed) and haven’t received a response. I have had an invoice since and this survey but no help with the fact that the spindles don’t fit the chair!!”

“I needed to ask for advice about my order a couple of times and found customer service was hard work to tease out information. I was sent an email clarifying information about what I should buy (video didn't work). Fortunately I noticed that the thickness of one item was wrong. Then when the product was delivered the washer was not the right one - also I felt sure I ordered 2 split pins and 2 washers. My son tried your chat line to ask advice about an alternative to the split pin and washer and the person told him he hadn't got a clue. he then disappeared. I was aware that I was out of my depth trying to sort a replacement wheel for our very old wheelbarrow. At one point I asked if I could order by phone to make sure I bought what I needed and was told basically told no. The best bit of the experience was my conversation with the person whom I asked about the possible delivery time and who was really helpful.”

“Received castors 1 arrived broken I rang Ross they said they would send a replacement which has never arrived.”

“They are happy to take your money for items they do not have in stock. Promise delivery and fail to meet it. Has happened both times I have ordered from them.”

“Unfortunately the wheel that I ordered did not quite fit, it was of a different design to the existing one. I did email in after delivery explaining why it wasn't the right wheel and sent in some pictures of the original wheel, but I haven't heard a thing since/”

“Wrong size and i had to cut down the width of the central axle. This is not a suitable replacement for my Chillington wheelbarrow.”

“Ordered wheel for wheelbarrow giving person on phone all measurements as instructed on website. When wheel arrived totally wrong and if I return it I have to pay postage. Will not be using again.”

“I contacted someone on the web chat to assist with what i needed, they just sent me a link for the website and page i was looking at. Hence I ordered the wrong one. You did swap but it could have been avoided if i was given more help at the when i contacted you.”

“I ordered 1" Bore wheels for a 1" diameter axle shafts. Unfortunately they are not designed as a "running" or "clearance" fit for a 1" axle, they are 1" diameter "interference" fit so won,t fit the shaft.”

“I ordered the wrong size of product. Fully my fault and I accept that. Called the company to ask about changing them for the correct size, told to write on the invoice which size I needed and send them back. After paying postage for that I was given a refund and have seen no contact from the company about the correct size of product.”

“Although Paypal acknowledged order almost immediately, Ross did not but confusingly after a few days sent me a reminder of items remaining in my basket. Emails and phone calls eventually straightened this out but their automated acknowledgment of payment did not work on this occasion and it was only after several working days that a copy of the receipt arrived. The castors look excellent and are obviously of a high quality.”

“Previously bought a set of four castor wheels 260-3360-PP which worked well for ages on coach wash but the second set I bought to replace them only lasted a week before the deformed!! Have now replaced them with 200-500-HRT, fingers crossed they last longer”

“I have a very mixed opinion of Ross Castors. I ordered 4 sand wheels for a disabled boy's walker, and despite having "next day delivery" and "in stock" displayed on the website I am actually still waiting for the last wheel to arrive weeks after ordering. My main issue is that I felt I was told any old thing to keep me off their backs. E.g. being promised that the shipment would be in on Tuesday, and I am still waiting on the following Saturday. A six year old boy with cerebral palsy is waiting for this project to be finished so he can go on holiday with his family. I wish that the Ross staff had come clean with me earlier. The plus point was that the VAT was removed from the invoice for the disability issue, so that was helpful.”

“Second time I've ordered wheels, second time they've come with the wrong bore size. First time they sent bearings on the correct bore. This time now replacement reducers or wheels so I've had to buy additional material to make an axle. Won't use them again.”

“bought set of casters rated for office chair and they didn't last long. So we bought another set rated 75kg office chair, they lasted less than first ones! Rubbish quality. So we bought flat feet instead but they didn't have a long enough bolt (which is not Ross fault) so may give up and just buy a new chair!”
