I RANG TO PLACE THE ORDER AND WAS TOLD THERE WERE PLENTY IN STOCK , HOWEVER THE FOLLOWING DAY WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER I GOT A MESSAGE SAYING DELIVERY WOULD BE ABOUT 4 WEEKS LATER

Thanks for your review and I am sorry to hear you are unhappy about the lead time of the unit you ordrered. When you called you asked about a different size varation which was in stock at the time of the call. When the actual order came through some days later it was for a different size unit to what we discussed. We do advertise the lead time on these units to be 4 weeks as per the delivery tab on the product.
Having had to contact Roof & Skylights with regards to a number of issues (significantly delayed delivery, followed by delivery of incorrect items, etc) it feels very much like this company is in its infancy and has many lessons to learn in terms of transparency and basic customer service. In our experience, there was a clear lack of ownership when we had to contact Roof & Skylights with the various issues with our order. This may be due to Roof & Skylights actually being a third party distributor so it appears they have limited control. I should say that our latest issue (damaged panel) was dealt with very effectively and Roof & Skylights did provide a 10% refund for the issues relating to delivery delays. The partial refund however did not cover our actual financial loss incurred as a result of the in-competencies.

Many thanks for your feedback. We can assure you that we are not in our infancy and we are proud to be celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year. We are sorry there were a few delivery related issues with your order. As you are aware we rely on 3rd party couriers to deliver our products. As the product is glass we are limited as not all couriers / companies have sufficient insurances or the capabilities to transport glass. We will always do our best to assist our customers when these issues arise despite the fact we do not charge for delivery we were still able to offer you a refund as a gesture of goodwill at our cost even though the issues were not errors or in competencies by our company.

The reason I have not left a good review is because. When I called to get some advice and support for the product I purchased. I found the member of of staff I was talking to was really quite sort with me and couldn't wait to palm me off to the website. the reason for the phone call in the first place to make sure I was getting the right dome So back to the website to order up the product hoping I've got the right one. and what pops up in the bottom of the screen. live chat icon, when no more than 10 minutes previous a member of staff couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I've still yet to fit this product to one of my jobs so I'm hoping it will fit

Hi Nigel I am very sorry to hear the wrong unit was delivered. I can see from our records that we have requested the delivery date for the correct units from the factory but have not received confirmation as yet. Already reported delivery Thrown off back off wagon clearly written fragile on boxes No signature asked for on delivery for £1600 worth of material pretty poor really
