“Have chosen Rohan outdoor clothing over many other manufacturers for many years now and they are still the first brand I look at when I need to replace or expand my walking kit. You can always rely on their quality and service and I think their shops are probably unique. The fact that their shops only sell their own brand mean their staff thoroughly know their products.”

“Obōz shoes are perfect. Good sizing and don’t get that feeling I must take them off as one often gets with shoes! Look good too. Less blue than in pictures which is just right”

“I have purchased many Rohan items over the years and, despite the increased prices, I feel they are value for money. I prefer to try items on in store and think the manager and staff in the Glasgow shop are extremely helpful. It would be good to know that the store gets some credit for online purchases if delivery/ collection address is in store.”

“The first purchase arrived with a very stiff clasp that didn't open very well. One glove had a seam that was undone. I had to contact customer services several times and had to return them and then wait for a replacement pair. Quality control was slack. And I had interesting responses to my complaint. It could have been improved by a more prompt action ie a replacement pair sent straight away. No recompense for the inconvenience and a week's wait in cold weather not what I'd expect from this company my pair was part of a faulty batch. Thank you for the replacements. I”

“My new Dry Roamers are a better fit than past experience of 10S! However, the waterproofing is far more rigid. Hope it will gradually soften as I wear them in”

“I have recently purchased a pair of your Winter Stretch Bags. I had to buy a waist size two up from my usual size. However they are splendid, the warmest trousers I have ever worn. Last week when the temperature was freezing or close to it my legs were very warm. They are so good I have purchased a second pair. I paid for enhanced postage & they arrived within 2 days.”

“We own many Rohan items and have generally been satisfied. However our new Insect Shield trousers, purchased from our local store, didn’t adequately protect us from insects/mosquitos- got bitten after just a couple of hours out wearing them. Very disappointing as product quality is usually so good. No offer of exchange or refund from Rohan customer services, just the comment that they were sorry to hear we were disappointed.”
