“I was delighted to find that one of my favourite wines - Gerald Talmard's Macon Uchizy - was available at Roberts & Speight at an unbeatable UK price and with excellent delivery terms and prompt service. I can get it for less - but that involves driving to the vineyard in Macon! Hardly worth using so much petrol, especially now that the price benefits are marginal, at best.”

“I ordered 24 bottles of Le Sabounet, which we had encountered at Galvin’s La Chapelle. The price was the best on the market and the order was efficiently processed. The £200 threshold for free delivery forced me to order more than I would have chosen, but at £8.99 for a quality full-bodied Rhone red, that was not an issue.”
