“I ordered a biscuit/tea hamper for my long time friends for Christmas. I was told by email that it had been delivered so waited for my friend to thank me. One week later I asked her about it as I was upset she hadn't mentioned it. She said that the message card was from an accountant company, not me so didn't know I had sent them. I rang Ringtons and complained, told them this could have caused a break in a long friendship, the lady said they would refund me. I was refunded ?1 for my message card and no letter of apology. I am very upset with the customer service and even though the biscuits, according to my friend were lovely, I won't be buying from them again.”
“Chocolate lighter colour than usual, with Matt finish, not their usual gloss. Individual chocolates not uniform size. At least three of the chocolates had small holes in the surface of them where the chocolate was thinner. You could see the jelly which should have been covered in chocolate. Three boxes purchased recently have had similar defects. The chocolates are just not the same as those bought in earlier years.”
“Quality of products is, as always, great. The problem we've encountered this time is very poor packaging for a delivery. First delivery had no packing material at all, so delicate biscuits were all squashed. Replacement delivery had some packing, but the individual boxes were not protected, and consequently 2 thirds of boxes were again squashed.”
“I've ordered a few packs of tea for the very simple reason, my friend recommended it and I wanted it to be a nice present for my sister. Downfall was even tho I've paid for the delivery it took forever to get it. Not the best company if you would like tea without subscription.”
“Disappointed with delivery: took over 3 weeks for me to get my order and what I ordered came too late so I ended up ordering something else from another company.”
“The only options we had for making a purchase was to either buy at Newcastle Fenwicks store or purchase on line. As Fenwicks did not have any stock we were left with purchasing on line and pay for delivery. Not a satisfactory outcome and not one to inspire me to buy again.”

“As I ordered 3 biscuit hampers as presents, it was annoying to have only 1 delivered. This made me look rather mean. There was no answer from their telephone number and although I left details no one called me back. The second day of trying did get a response and 2 more hampers were sent. No compensation for the error was offered.”
“Total confusion over delivery / delivery address / date / not delivering / did not tell us....... Asked for a manager to call regarding another matter over a year ago but they never did. However, nice people, try hard but could be so much better.”
“Tea is as usual great. However service was awful. Your system managed to change my address the postcode was correct but you changed the road to somewhere else entirely. My post person managed to find my parcel just before it was returned to you. I had already paid ?40 ish.Your staff on the phone were VERY unhelpful and just kept saying it was my fault and they were not interested. Not sure I will ever bother using your service again”
“Umm only because i havent received my parcel yet and its been nearly 3 weeks. I know Ringtons tea is lovely and delicious but wouldn’t mind someone chasing up. It was for Christmas morning…”
“I had a delivery issue which I did contact customer services about and it was being passed on to the relevant person. Unfortunately, no one bothered to contact me back which was disappointing. A simple email back wouldn't have taken a few moments but with the lack of customer service I wouldn't bother ordering again.”
