About The Red Dog Company:

The Red Dog Company was born out of the quest for well-designed, high-quality, dog beds and accessories.

Our dogs work hard, whether in the field, or exercising the children. When they’re not out and about, the chances are they are in their beds, so it seems only fair to make them as comfortable as possible.

Nick and Chris are field sports enthusiasts, and self-confessed gear obsessives.

“I’ve always bought rather cheap dog beds. It’s a false economy. My two three-quarter- bred Salukis just destroy them and I end up with stuffing all over the house. So this time I decided to go for quality and bought two of the Red Dog Company’s large tweed dog mats. Pricey but well worth the money! They are extremely well made and the covers are sturdy enough to withstand abuse while being soft and attractive. And the mattresses are super comfy. The fleece does shed a little at first but it’s a really inviting texture to sleep on. It stays remarkably clean. I just hoover it every now and again. It may get a little grey but at that point I shall wash it gently I rather over-estimated how big a size they needed, with the result that there’s plenty of room for them both to sleep on the same bed, because they curl up small in the winter. It’s rather sweet. For now the other one is in another room, which is useful. In the summer, when it’s hot and they like to stretch out they’d probably like a bed each. I’m not posting a picture of them on the bed in the kitchen because I’d be obliged to wash my muddy floor before I took it! But here’s a pic of Tyomkin and his sister Dandelevka on Hampstead Heath:”

“Ordered a large bed and mat for one of my Labradors. It was such good quality and my older dog is very comfortable in it. He was less comfortable when my other Labrador got in with him so I ordered one for her too. Now they're both happy to be in their own beds and they look really smart in the lounge. Even the cat is getting on on the action, she loves the mat which I put in the sofa. I've had many different dog beds over the years and these are the best I've seen. The sheepskin hoovers up well and the fact you can wash the covers is a real bonus.”

“10mins out of the box and HEAVEN!!! Our pointer/whippet barely let us get the bed out of the box. She jumped in and hasn't left it. This is the M size and shows lots of room to stretch still. We put her blanket in (for her smell) but the sheepskin cushion will certainly keep her warm. We now have our sofa and chair back!!! Photos are just to show the size of our dog when looking at sizes. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The quality of my dog mats are second to none. My dogs loved it so much I have to supervise their time on it - for the moment. I think its the smell of the sheepskin and its pile makes them want to dive into them. They can't get enough of it. I bought it for them for when we go on our staycation in Cornwall soon. I also love the colours of the backing material - orange and apple green in my case. Wish I had discovered your beds before we purchased ours from Orvis a couple of years back. They look like the real stuff with genuine support for our lovely fur babies. And the fact that all the materials and manufacture have been sourced in UK is a huge bonus. So congratulations for a wonderful product.”

“Purchased two natural wool toppers ('Vet Bedding', small) for new puppy. Lovely and soft and snuggly, and easily washable following the odd mishap! Will certainly consider purchasing a dog bed once fully grown. Also, have my eye on the roll mats, as these look ideal for protecting the sofa and alike from muddy paws! Also purchased a slip lead and a clip lead. Both excellent quality. Very impressed.”

“Pepper, our miniature schnauzer, very quickly settled in her new Red Dog bed. The medium size is perfect, offering support and room for the various schnauzer ‘poses’ she adopts when sleeping. The quality materials and generously-padded sides provide a sense of security and luxury. Best bed she has ever had!”
