What i absolutely love is that whilst broadening my reading horizons, i'm also supporting the closing of the gender gap by championing female authors. All of this comes lovingly wrapped.”

She has kept me updated with pictures and descriptions of the books sent and I have been very pleased with the quality of everything (online store is professional, book descriptions enticing, packaging looks lovely). I'm even looking forward to reading the books myself when I visit!”

“The Rare Birds Book club is great because although you have chosen the rough theme of the book for each month it is a very pleasant surprise when you get it and the books are all varied. They introduce you to new writers and books that you might not choose yourself. So far I have enjoyed all the books that I have chosen and I look forward to finding out each month which author I am going to be introduced or in some cases re-introduced to ! A great service.”

“Hi, The books portay crucial issues our society is facing today. I liked the idea of choosing a book based on the summary and of promoting/supporting the not so well known female writers. The customer service is helpful and positive, however one of the drawbacks are that the books arrived always very late and I still have not received my September books.”

“Such a great idea, love getting my monthly book, only room for improvement (from my point of view) is potentially having some sort of Kindle equivalent, as I prefer using my Kindle. But the service is great and it's nice to get a present in the post!”
