Special mention too Emma Taylor, my case handler, who handled my claim in a professional manner, providing regular updates as my personal situation developed, making sure I was always well informed. QDOS was simple too work with and very understanding when I made them wait as I gathered the necessary evidence I needed.

I was introduced to QDOS by a local rep . I was promised the earth by the rep and I have to say I have received a second to none service . Every one is totally on the ball and keeps me and the client regularly updated . The cars have been a little late on a few occasions but the client has been updated and been happy with the service . My rep is really good and nothing is too much trouble for her . I would recommend QDOS to anyone .

I was recommended to use these guys by my local garage. My repairs were authorised quickly and I didn't have to pay my excess. I had a lovely car whilst mine was in for repairs which was an added bonus, although I was a little bit nervous about driving a new car! Easy to get through to on the phone and friendly and helpful with any queries (unlike my insurers), would highly recommend.

They have helped us with the initial follow up to our car being hit by another, eventually finding us a hire car and dealing with the search for a repair shop.

Even though my claim dragged on a bit it was no fault of the pleasant staff at Qdos, I was kept pretty much up to date with things and it was only down to the other Insurance company not understanding English road laws.

Scandalous company, my car door and front wing were slightly damaged through no fault of my own so we took the vehicle to a body shop who said they went through Qdos and not to worry, what a joke. A woman called Annie Reddington from QDOS called back a few days later and said all they could do was write the car off and give us £4500 which was their estimate value of the vehicle and the damage was £4500 to fix, this was a lie. The vehicle had a few dints and the price of the vehicle, a 2014 Ford Kuga with 60,000 miles was £7,850 so they most likely wanted to make a few grand of us. I took the car to another repair shop and they quoted £800 so a difference of £3700 to fix, what a bunch of CHARLATANS, avoid, avoid, avoid.

12th September we had our parked car written off. It was early morning we were still in bed. It took til 19th December for the other insurer to send the payment over to Qdos. I was told that we would receive payment once funds had cleared their bank. It is now the 17th January and despite numerous phone calls and emails from us we still have not received payment. I’m not sure if it is legal for Qdos to hang on to our payment for this length of time. We had to return the hire car as we were out of the country for 24 days in October and were told that should we be paid our claim we must return the car immediately. We sent the hire car back just in case the payment arrived whilst we were away and didn’t want to fall foul of the agreement. We have bought a car and have lost interest on our money waiting for the from Qdos. I wonder if they will send us compensation for lost interest, especially as they only paid out for the hire car til October.
